Quick production question

What is better to go with Scroll Production...Comp or Decomp?

Cheers!

scroll production will get you $

But knowing the Decomp skill is great when your trying to make money from scroll production.

Unless you have a Decomp queen that helps you. (thanks decomp queens)

Depends on your level/existing capital/scroll production exp./decomp exp/comp exp.

Generally decomp's better though.

Well...I currently produce scrolls and pots, but I only choose them to produce for myself because I don't spend much time vending. Being a cleric, or maybe just how I play, I dont use pots very much, so the pots I get from drops seem to be plenty.

I do use scrolls a bit, and so would like to produce my own, but never seem to have very many of the right mats, and dont buy them, again because I dont vend.

It seems like comp and decomp would go together nicely, but then I would have to find out how, and actually execute, making this profitable enough to buy scrolls.

Sooo...sounds like decomp is my answer! If you guy have any other thoughts or insights that'd be great. Elsewise I'll prolly buy a prod-reset thingy from the CS tonight and start working mah mad decomp skizzizles!

Decomp and scrolls = <3

I have the two combo and I have no problems with getting mats. Though SBL is still hard to find...

Don't buy production skill reset. Spread the production skills amongst all your characters!

One crucial factor in raising production skills is volume of production.

Also, you should consider doing all of the production skills yourself.

It's best to have composition and decomposition on the same character.

Don't perform production skills on your main character.

Ive thot about this, and haven't ruled it out, but I only have one char...I know I could start others, farmers, producers etc... but my game-play time is probably more limited than some, so I like to ... u know ... play :) I wouldn't want to spend all my time switching between chars to produce.

I will probably try this one switch and see if it fits my game-play/production preferences. I don't mind supporting Outspark a little bit :D

Thank you tho for your candor...Ill letcha know how it turns out ;)

Decomping yourself is still faster, plus you have more benefits.

It turns you into a Fiestazombie, however.

Decomp is used to compliment with your Scroll production...

it is cheaper to buy HQ stuff, and decomp into MQ for T2 scrolls, than to try buy T2 materials...

and by lvl 60 you'll get lotsa T3 materials (SPIDER KQ YAY!) for ur T2 scrolls..

Comp is only used (well i only use it) to help me boost my decomp skill.. but its not useful otherwise...

Don't mind him, it's not true.

The real reason why decomp is essential is because as you level up, you cease to get lower level materials. At that point, you either have to decomp yourself, or get someone to, or buy the materials. Between doing it yourself and letting someone else do it, I'd pick the first option.

Regarding composition, if you can manage to buy in lower grade materials in bulk to composite up the item grades, you get a (much) better bargain on certain materials. Not guaranteed to be faster, though. However, time is money... :cutielove:
