what's better Wizard or Warlock?

i cant decide what to choose between wizard or Warlock

I have no clue, but I chose Wizard for my mage because I was told Warlock is more of a PvP class while Wizard is more of a PvE.

It depends on your playing style. Wizard = staff; Warlock = wand....(I believe XD)
And I've heard the same as ^
You're not at a disadvantage of picking your class late compared to clerics. If a cleric decides to go HK after using hammers the entire time, they have to buy the bleed skill later on -.-' and a mace, vs. for mages they can just switch the weapon, as the skills don't differ for each weapon until lvl 100.
I would personally say warlocks are better XD
