Hey im new to the game but i know about all the lingo and whatnot so im wondering if Kiting Rangers are a good class, i dont intent on PvP'ing and if i do this i would want it to be solo aoe, but i could always use help. Idk what exact amount of points give what extra boost, i think 25 spr gives +5% something and 50 dex gives +10% evasion rate. but if any of you can give some help would be nice thanks

oh and people are going to say that 25 SPR/rest str is best. But why shouoldnt i use 25SPR/rest DEX?

DEX also helps with Aim so I tend to put points in it to help there. You can also buff Aim with a scroll, so some argue that you should just make a bunch of T1/T2 aims and put your points into STR (which you can't easily buff up). Solid logic, but I tend to kite for hours and hate to keep applying scrolls. Another option is to just get gear with good DEX bonus. I would not go over 33 points in dex because you hit the diminishing returns after that point, much like SPR (you do get a good dodge bonus till 50 points in DEX though). Points in STR is the most argued for stat because it doesn't cap. I think it differs from STR you get from gear as well... personal STR bypasses armor reduction while gear STR does not. OK, rambling thoughts but hope this helps...

Personally I love my archers pure dex build, people say it's a stupid build but some of my higher level archer friends who have the same build can kite large 6x rooms at level 51 and rarely get hit cause of the massive amount of misses.

Other than that I guess the build is entirely up to your play style. It is rather fun to see a axe fighter attempt to pk you only to get miss after miss then they say wtf and leave.

I find DEX is important for Archers not just for the Aim but mostly for the Evasion, Archers unfortunately for us have low health and def =\ So if we put a lot of points towards Dex they wont be able to hit us. And I found that putting points in End is actually quite futile, so you may want to just main Dex, and Spr or Str.

i am DEX/END build and i love that build it works fine for me and. Kaini gave me that tips and that works fine xD

It is said that DEX does not add % but points as STR does. I would go with STR, DEX and 5%SPR as there is also said that at high levels you lack power for killing those mobs.

DEX is a good thing to add, along with maybe +25 STR :p

Free stat str gives more than the str bonus for all archer equipment.
Free stat dex gives less than the dex bonus for all archer equipment.
Thus, I would say go full str or 25 spr and rest str xD
