Help Meh!

Hello umm I'm a lvl 2x mage and I would like to know is there any walkthrough type thing someone could give me on defeating my clone in the wiz mage job change?:uhoh:

There should be some old ones in the search feature but I can give you some tips.

Have HP/SP potions and be full on stones. Scrolls of Defense and HP would be very helpful as well. When you enter the room that goes dark, Explore it and KILL both mara pirates so they don't spawn on you when you fight your clone (I had this problem before I figured out that they spawned earlier than the final battle). Fight your clone but when the stone giants come, focus on those (there HP is rather low, so as a mage, killing them is quick). Keep a close eye on your health and you should do fine.

I never did the job change quest with a mage but i will explain you what i did with my archer, which should be kinda the same as mages.Things you need to beat the clone:

-get the hp/sp cleric buff
-use scroll for def(T1 should be enough)
-use a T1 scroll for evasion
-use T1 mentality/vitality
-at the final room, concentrate on attacking JUST your clone, dont care about the monster around, beating the clone is enough to clear the quest.

Note:I think that IT IS possbile to beat the clone without the hp/sp cleric buff.

Search YouTube they have alot of good guides. It doesnt matter what class it is cause we all do the same thing.

based on wiki, the cleric is the easiest while mage is the hardest

but it shouldn't be a problem if you got lotsa buffs and pots to begin with
and if u want it to be easy, just do the trick (unequip everything when coming to the area, and re-equip when the shadow comes out)

Have all current armor. Use the 6 T1 or T2(if you can afford) scrolls. It's a cake walk after that. No cleric buff needed. Just have some stones and a few pots and it'll be easy.

That trick happens to not work and only leads to un-needed hassle :uhoh:
