Head's Up!

Just a heads up for everyone, someone has been spamming up the wiki pages with boatloads of links. I just happened to notice it earlier and reverted it then I kinda been watching it since and it's been like 3 times in the last few hours now. Anyway, DO NOT CLICK THE LINKS if you see them again as they all seem to redirect to this spyshredderscanner.com place. You can check it out on siteadvisor.com

If you click it you'll get redirected and this will pop up:

You don't want any part of this, it is malicious software. Hit CANCEL or close and close any windows pertaining to it.

Alright thanks for the heads up. Any idea who is doing it?

Not really. It was three different IP addresses, one in China one in Germany and one in United States, so it's either multiple people or someone using some sort of IP masking.

Sigh, stupid people who comes to ruin our wiki... >:

There really should be mod only to access the wiki, and people can post the wiki information in a thread, and then the mod or whomever would then add it manually. >_> Its more work but its safer.

I think that would be a little overboard...I would prefer it to be registered members only. I don't think all the mods are experienced in wiki codes, and if they do vandalise the wiki, we can just ban the IP/user.

Hm yea, though I thought it already was registered members >_>

LOL, nah. The only way to stop a non registered member would be Protecting the page, I believe.

I think the registration thing would be alright and help cut down some spam and vandalism, but I don't like the mod access only idea. Many people that might otherwise help with it wouldn't help anymore. I wouldn't do anything that way, too much of a bother.

D: I always though only registered members can edit our wiki!

We should go ahead and do that. o:
