Holy Knight or Guardian?

First off gratz bro~!

Next I think HK are more of a solo class and G are party. Right now HK might look like a good choice, but I read from other versions that G become superior later in end game.

I say Guardian.

So far as I know, you and Doylen are the highest levs posting here with her slightly in the lead.

Her 97 mage hubby suggests Guardian as well and she's leaning that direction.
He is committed to cap and we pt a lot so it makes sense.

The thing keeping me on the fence is the uber godly mace i have.

100 mace: str49 dex48 spr48 100 shield: str48 dex49 end48

My 100 hammer str9 end48 dex11 is not bad but the mace/shield combo is a great balance of stats and would make for one BA HK! lol

HK is flashy but, if you plan on still playing this game after next cap raise you need to go Guardian IMO.

The heals of a HK won't cut it when mobs get tougher again. We already need to charm to deal with AR mobs... imagine the next maps! Especially when HP starts to hit 15k for some Fighters.

Guardian just sounds better like knight just cheezy lol

But right now lv 100 weps are just for show. And i think t5 enhancing is gonna be really expensive...

t5 enhancing is gonna be more that expensive, more likely near impossible
unless ur making ur own stones cuz no one will want to sell at any price. I have 2 t5 xir now and going to TM gets me > 1/2% xp per hour. No way would i vend stones so hard to get. I will use them or pass to guildies when my needs are met.

Perhaps the next set of maps will have something that drops t5 blessed and lucky.

The thing im wondering about is why has not OS released t5 perfects yet?

Seems like $$ on the table to me.

Doylen made 100 and went guardian as advised. Here is the problem:

Her weapon of choice has been mace for some time and she has a good 100 hammer but stones and perfects are an issue as we know.

If she equips mace she loses access to several skills not related to guardian as well as those that are. She Had no other hammer!

This morning I bought a 95 BKR hammer dex55 for her at 16g so she is good to go. Same damage as 100 and dex+hammer LOOK OUT! Most important, can +9 but now have to retrain lic.

True for all classes, think about where you want to go at 100 and equip accordingly at 90/95

Already got my ranger stuffz. Full +9 purps and a godly hg xbow. Now i just need to find a good 100 hat....

I would rather go with a Hk. but then my cleric is only lvl 25 :)

This choice is rather simple actually, if you enjoy clanking go Holy Knight, but if you enjoy being more of a healer go guardian.

wow i have a long way to go with my 44 cleric,hey im pure str what do you think is better for me guardian or holy knight(i killed a monster in lvl 90 abyss when i was 43 i got only 1 xp?)

str is great for a lower level cleric that is solo a lot and you can level reasonably fast. The higher lev you become the greater your need to party becomes.

way too soon to think about hk/guardian

oh, and anything 20 lev above and 10 lev below (i think) is 1 xp.

30*+ levels above.

Omg seriously we need more guards >.< theres like freaking 5-6 in epith everyone seems lyk thy want to be hk well hello not all buffs are great you need heals to ya kno:cries:

HK is great right now, everyone loves the crit and end buff.

Wizy is wearing his cross set exclusively because the reduced cd on quicken actually is useful now and the set has uber str for solo and assist.

He is also using a 100 shield str50 end47 dex4x +0. Solo he still uses his bkr but put a red shadow lic on his uber stat 100 mace to work on the crit. The other two positions will remain open till we see whats coming next.

BE NICE TO HAVE SOME REPEATS!

Oh and btw till they fix the t18 heal bug wizzys t17 has the same 2000hp as Doylen.

I think I'll lvl up my characters evenly, since right now the game hasn't advanced enough for lvls 100+ to enjoy the gameplay

Uh... If I ever get to lev 100 (is that the lev?) I would choose guardian cuz I hate maces and love hammers. But doesn't anyone here like the HK's buff that ups ur crit rate?

Holy Knight. Again because of the pvp aspect

other versions of the game don't apply. If the US version was like the Chinese, clerics would have MULTIPLE AoEs.
