Members (old and new), what is your gaming style now?

Obviously we've all played Fiesta---a very cookie cutter Korean f2p fantasy MMO. Many of the older members have long moved on for one reason or another. So I thought I'd ask whats everyone's desires in a game are, if you even still indulge in games. Whatcha been playing? What do you want to play? Etc etc.

Just thought I'd ask.

I've moved onto action MMOs. Currently playing Dragon Nest and TERA. I also want to try out another Diablo-style MMO developed by Eyedentity... forgot what it was called though, lol.

I don't think I can play any game like Fiesta anymore though...

What are you playing?

^ Samee.

I like to play games that doesn't last very long, where you're forced to stop every now and then.

Other than LoL.. I'm also playing theme hospital and insaniquarium hahahaha

And Draw Something on the phone LOL

Anything but point and click MMORPGs

Well, I've fallen in love with long, story-driven RPGs. Dragon Age, Morrowind etc. The longer the better!

After resorting to WoW I've been spoiled. Don't think I could go back to Fiesta-style MMOs. I think the problem with that game is that its too grindy and if you want to make any "progression", you have to invest a lot into the game.

I liked WoW cuz leveling was 10x faster, and there was so much to do... I like MMOs like that. Variety is the spice of life.

Lately I've been playing multiplayer and co-op-ish indie games (like Terraria, Dungeon Defenders, Trine 2). I've also been playing Tribes Ascend, fun casual fps. Been waiting for Guild Wars 2 :) wanted to try Tera but its payment platform isn't ideal for me...

Yeah, that's why my brother picked GW2... he didn't want to pay monthly.

At first he wanted to play Secret World but then found out that they were monthly subscription as well. The only option for the "pay one time" was to pay close to $300 upfront for a "lifetime subscription". I was told "uh... no, not unless you're paying for it and even if you were I'd tell you to go get PS3 or something instead".

Yeah I'd never make that much of a commitment to a game. I know a lot of people invest a lot in cash shops and would probably spend that much in that time, but for some of us, no, its not a good investment. Plus people on average don't even play a MMO any longer than a year or 2.

I play League of Legends occasionally. It's weird to see how much less games I play now opposed to when I was younger. I don't now if it's just that modern game sucks or I'm losing interest, but can't really find a game to capture my interest. I even bought a ps3 and 3ds, only to sell it less then a month after? HUGE waste of money on my part, oh well, learned a lesson. I do miss mmo's though, I like party quests/ dungeons, stuff where you go in a group to beat the big bad boss.

I've now moved out so we get our own TV to play on the PS3.

Currently playing Zombies on CoD Black Ops with my hubby..

Occasionally I'll get up to play Just Dance.

Haven't really been wanting to get back into anything like Fiesta coz the addiction wasted so much of my time..
