Who is better Mage or Fighter and why?

Depends on the player and their gear. Classes are all fairly balanced in Fiesta.

i would think the fighter is better because of the dmg points but lets not leave out the mag they have powerful moves and long distense strikes

In the pvp aspect, as a mage, I would 3/4 hit fighters all day.

I think Mages are better because they pwange in pvp ^^

Fighters are born for PvP.
Mages aren't even a threat imo... Basically, just +9 jewels and a little bit of SPR here and there will allow you to survive long enough to land the Dev and finish the fight in no time. :D

I think fighters cause they have better all around balance

And crap for m.def .. fear, magic blast, fireball, magic blast ... ooh look the fighters on the ground.

If your bad at your class, then ya, the fighters immob-deva is gunna kill you.

Another thing would be level, because after 105 there is no one with the defense/magic defense to survive ML/LH weapon from either a mage or a fighter that is geared well. If they are skilled first to attack wins. Even with +9 RoP's, and +9 blue 95 earrings and necklace with high SPR gears you won't survive the 7~8.5k base magic damage a Warlock/Wizard has with a ML/LH+10 without charms/sc suit of some sort. However the same can be said for a well geared Gladiator/Knight with ML/LH+10. All the defense in the world won't save you from a Glads ML/LH axe with a base 12~14k damage. First to attack wins unless they're SC'd out or just horrible at pvp. At lower levels it really just depends on gears, skill, and weapon as mentioned previously. My perm 49 mage with prepatched Vanish Set can easily put fighters on the ground, with it's costume and weapon skin i have around 1290 mdmg (from the base the wand gives 700). So overall neither is really better than the other as a class, it's just how you use them.
