Fiesta Game Updates and Patch Notes v1.253

Greetings fellow Isyans,

After a small delay in maintenance, this week's Insider is out! And we're here to supply our community with the latest in game updates and patch notes for the world of Fiesta.

Though I don't need to mention every single detail, we've implemented oodles of bug fixes this time around, some of which may have been fairly noticeable when in-game. That includes certain NPCs who tell me "If you wish to be stronger!" which, my apologies Shutian, makes absolutely no sense. So let's get to it.

General Fixes

Storage Keeper Kyle has been a bit of a trouble maker lately and I'm glad to announce that we've ironed out most of his bugs in this patch, and this includes a particular one in which players had a problem talking to Kyle again unless the map was refreshed. Besides that, his dialogue text should also appear more pleasing to the eye.

Anyone pay any visit to the OX field recently? Yes. I would agree, it looks a bit "strange". In this update we're fixing the map a bit so that the game squares and labels are visible again, which would allow us to get back to our always fun quiz shenanigans.

There were instances where the game could freeze up if the mouse icon was hovered over a +10 enhanced item. This issue has been resolved.

The Elderine Guard Captain, Shutian, will now have something more productive to say other than "If you wish to be stronger!".

Lord Elbama has been giving an incomplete dialogue box which didn't allow users to progress in that specific quest. It has been resolved.

Epith recently ran into some server issues. We've found a small bug that may have been causing the problem and the fix for it will be included in this patch.

The filter tabs were having issues organizing the Kingdom Quests correctly. We've repaired it so that you'll be able to sort the listed quests properly according to the columns.

Several players were receiving an issue with the cooldown for the Partner Summon skill, which is available for married characters. The cooldown should be normal for this skill now, and need not be refreshed with a relog. Regarding the same skill, due to usage in which the skill was not intended, we've also changed the cooldown from 5 seconds to 2 minutes.

Quest Related

The Freedom Fighter event will be removed in this update.

It will no longer be possible to trade quest items found in the Iyzel Tower.

The rewards involving the Dragon's Tomb have been modified.

Balancing

In our quest to ensure that we provide a balanced in-game world, we've been continually refining certain mobs, bosses, and maps since their release. In this case, we've found that Helga still does not provide an experience challenging enough as the most difficult boss in the game. In order to accommodate this, Helga has been buffed.

A point should be clarified for the recent nerf regarding the set items that are dropped from within Iyzel. The drops going forward will receive the stats that are appropriate to the level; items that have already dropped will remain the same. This ensures that those who have used in-game currency to obtain the items receive the item's original value.

Items

The Diminish Set item names have been fixed, each piece will now be specific to type, instead of the names for all set items being "Diminish Armor".

This update will also include a brand new swimsuit that will be available after the patching is completed, The Love Swimsuit set.

Events

We're introducing a GM event titled The Plight of Icarus, an escort based event. Check out the event calendar, located in the forums for the details.

Known Issues

07.15.09 - Grand Master Sean, whom you can find in the Forest of Mist gives out a bugged dialogue box for the quest titled "Over the huddles to higher places".

07.15.09 - Guard Captain Shutian in Elderine has had his dialogue bug fixed for the quests "If you wish to be stronger!" and "Road to promotion!" but both quests are viewable by Users who have completed the first class change; these Users should not be able to view these quests.
