Holy Knight & Guardian Skills and Weps

I was wondering whether to go holy knight or guardian on my cleric. I know many of you will say that it's too early to think about it because I'm not even half way there. Also, from what I've read from numerous guides and previous discussions, Holy Knight is for pvp and those who want to solo (but at that level most people pt) and Guardian is for ones who want to help keep everyone else alive, etc. I know that clerics aren't built for pvp but I still enjoy that sort of thing even if I don't always win xD HK is a mace user and I'm a hammer user. I would probably choose HK but is it a bad idea at this point? D: It is strange to me that the HK's weapon isn't a hammer because maces deal less damage....Will I not be able to get used to a mace...has anyone here switched weapons? If so was it difficult? so should I:
A) Go HK and switch my weapon to mace and buy Bleed at lvl 50
B) Go HK and switch my weapon and buy my skills when I hit lvl 100 so I can level faster now
C) Go Guardian instead <----I'm thinking this is the best option.
Which skills do you get/can you upgrade when you choose each of the classes? I thought I read somewhere you lose a skill...or maybe it meant that you can no longer upgrade the skill?

well the reason for the HK using maces is because they want to balance the dmg i think for both cleric class choices so that one of the prestiged classes doesnt get all the pvp skills and a high dmg dealing weap (correct me if im wrong)

actually, the DPS and aim on a mace allows you to outdamage hammers extremely easy starting around level 5 0or so. most people going HK will have a hammer at 2x-4x and switch back to mace at either 40 or 50. the damage amount on hammers is to compenste for the lousy aim they have around the same level. if you go Guardian you have become the type of cleric who will hardly ever (if at all) even use thier weapon.

in short, they aren't balancing the damgae, maces do a ****load more by the time your prestige level. I switched to mace and noticed the differance right away. this has been tested thousands of times and proven true every time: my mace a decent green, can beat the hell out of any damgage my near godly hammer can do.

and for the OP. it is to early for you to tell what you want to be. the choice will be clearer by the time you're level 60.

And if you'll ask for my opinion, HK's are still capable of healing like how a normal cleric's supposed to.

INORITE! same goes for archers; Rangers get the crossbow and SharpShooters get the bow. well I'm not saying that it doesn't make sense, it actually does. just wanted to point that out too :cheeky:

I am a 4 stat hybrid so I am semi squishy... I dun like soloing for that reason, so I am a guardian... I swear that I will be even though I love damage... I think that the trip will compensate for a little damage, and higher heals are better for squishies like me... I don't wanna be a lvl 120 hk using 99 heal lol

Thank you all for your feedback :)

If I have a good amount of points on dex and/or stats on wep and use a hammer, it still won't help?
My main concerns are whether HK or G will level faster/be more successful and cost. I would have to buy more mace mastery and the bleed skill... But finding a pt as a cleric isn't hard, so idk.
