Additional Info on Fiesta Closed Beta Test Invites
 

We have learned from our forums and from communications with our members that a few of you selected to participate in our Closed Beta have not received our email invitation.

Unfortunately, emails can be lost from time to time because of overly aggressive spam filters. Be sure to check your "junk mail" or "spam" folder, as your invitation may have been sent there in error by your email service.

As mentioned on the forums, you can also tell if you've been selected to participate in the Closed Beta by clicking on the "Forums" link at the top of any page (in the navigation bar).

You will definitely see the "General" section on this page, which contains several forums: "Announcements", "General Discussion", and so on. However, if you are a Closed Beta Tester, you will see the "Fiesta Closed Beta" section as well, containing forums related to our upcoming Beta Test. (It will be invisible to non-Closed-Beta community members.)

We are working on a more direct way of communicating your Closed Beta status. Thank you for your patience--we appreciate it!

Also, please remember that we will very likely be inviting additional community members to participate. If you haven't yet been invited to test Fiesta, please be sure to check back frequently!

well thats goofd to know, i know a few ppl who cant find their invites. and alot who didnt get any, so they will be glad to know they might invite more.

Some ppl say Outspark GM's pick the ppl who are mostly who wont lag the server...(badly) unfair? I dunno...and some say they pick randomly -__-"

Tekku> What do you mean "who won't lag the server" ? People with slow connections / far from the US ? It's a myth, you don't lag the server with a slow connection, the only one lagging is you. Besides, I'm pretty far from the States and I did get picked.

I didnt say it, just heard it. Apparently they pick ppl who are closer to their server and so this will losen the lag in game as they dunno how much ppl they can hold etc.

And didnt get chosen either, i live in the UK. And i doubt their server is based in USA either. Mainly in the East...like China eetc.

^ The game servers are located in San Francisco apparently.
I'm pretty sure the invites are totally random, I live in France and I've been selected.

I think they pick a variety of people so they can see how many different situations they can have when a problems arises.

They wouldn't unfairly discriminate people based on location.
If you didn't get picked, you didn't.
