Ballsiest excuse for not coming for work.
 

Today one of my friends called my manager and told her he was too hungover to work today, so he probably(!) won't be coming in today. The look on her face was priceless.

You're fired!

Though it's the same as being sick ahah.

Aside from the fact it was brought upon by his own actions, making it HIS OWN DAMNED FAULT.

Being sick through no fault of your own would probably be a valid work excuse. Being "sick" because you did something you could have prevented is entirely something else. Choices have consequences.

If you drink, and have to work the next day, you don't call off. Recently, I went into work after a night a fun (which happen once every 6 months, if that). No sleep and hungover for a 7am-3pm shift. It was awful, but I brought it on myself. No one to blame but me. Not gonna call off on account of my own fault

Not saying I agree, just saying a reason lol.
I'd go to work hungover, just like I go to school
hungover when I decide to drink on a week night.
