Hearthstone
So I've been watching (and playing) a lot of Hearthstone recently. Amaz is one of the top Hearthstone streamers. He plays a lot of international tournaments and is sponsored and stuff.
The NA server was down today so he went over to the Asian server to play, where he's really lowly ranked (rank 25, the lowest you can be). He has a really good deck (really rare and powerful cards) because it's like LoL, where all the top players play on different servers to get different experiences and I think he farmed up these cards. Anyway, he goes over to the other server to play and plays against another rank 25 who only has all the basic cards (basically, the free cards that you get at the start of the game). And then he loses!!! LOL. It would be like if a Challenger level player in NA went over to another server and lost a 1v1 versus a Bronze. |
Amaz has changed so much since he started streaming :(
I wouldn't say it's like a challenger losing to a bronze because of the nature of HS - sometimes you just don't draw the cards you need and the oppenent has all the answers. Of course there is skill involved but RNG is a pretty big factor Also what's your battletag? :> |

Yeah, that's true. Hearthstone has a lot of RNG in it that can be terrible/awesome depending on how the RNG goes.... |
The Angry Chicken in the video's title made me think he got defeated by it.
I had Hearthstone for a while but sucked so hard I uninstalled (in Arena, managed to put a Alexstrasza on the board and a auto-revive effect on it. Still lost after that...) |
Oh yeah, I'm too nervous to play Arena by myself right now lol. I have a friend who walks me through it.

The shit I come across in arena is pretty ridiculous...

Grim Patron works even better with warrior and Warsong Commander, whirlwind and inner rage

Yeah I stole it from him with Mind Vision.
And then there was an Unstable Ghoul and KT somewhere in there too. Wish I had a video of it. |
