[FiestaFan]Some light shed on multi clienting.

The GM known as Steam (GM_Steam on the official forums) has recently shed some light on this issue that is so heavily debated in FiestaFan. His verdict:

To dual client, you would have to have more than one account.

There you have it folks. I will be updating the forum rules with this new information shortly.

EDIT: OK rules have been updated.

It still doesn't stop people from doing it, or provide a way to check if someone IS doing it.

No it doesn't, however its highly advisable not to. You do it at your own risk.

So there's a rule somewhere that says 1 person cannot have more than 1 account? (ccb to read ToS)

I think they mean no one can be playing on two accounts at the same time.

It'll be very harsh if they don't let you have multiple accounts (provided that you're not playing on two at the same time) because some people may like to create and play more than four characters.

I wonder if playing two clients at once on one computer is the same as playing two clients on separate computers. What if my brother was playing Fiesta with me o: If they track it down and find two IPs playing at the same time, how would they know if it's from the same computer or not? Hms.

Yeap, we asked about that too.

Siblings playing on two different computers is completely fine - how would they tell if it's one or two people playing? I guess we all know the answer to that.

Having two clients on one computer is different - because I guess it's kinda hard for two people to be playing on that one computer. D:

It's a bit ambiguous, really... but playing on two or more accounts at the same time is a bannable offense, I guess.

Hum. I see. Yeah, ambiguous.
