You know how preachers always say that when Judgement Day comes you'll be judged, either go to Heaven or Hell, and that's the end of the story? Well, if you pick up the Bible and look through it, you'll read about how God sends the ones who didn't get it right 1st time back to Earth and gives em' a 2nd chance, then if you don't get it right this time you go to Purgatory.

I just wonder why preachers never seem to tralk about that little part... any ideas or answers anyone?

Are you referring to Revelations 20: when Jesus comes back to Earth where there is a final judgement for eternity. Everyone only has one life. The final judgement brings everyone accountable for their own life.

IMHO, preachers don't focus on the final judgment because how you live your life and the choices you make now is more important. Who God is and what He has done for us, what He is saying to us now is more important.

Occasionally final judgement is preached, though it’s not popular because it can be easily taken out of context and paints an incomplete destructive image of God. (i.e. If you don't believe, you burn in hell forever....)

There's bigger issues that Preachers don't talk about...like half of the traditions and their real meanings...why Joseph's story and Jesus are so similar...and how it is predicted that Jesus wasn't born on Dec 25th...but instead somewhere between June and July..idk :ninja:
