X-Trap Error (Not listed on Fiesta forums)

OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Media Center Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 2

Processor Information/RAM Available: Uh, It just says this:

Hewlett-Packard Company
HP Pavilion
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual
Core Processor 5000+
2.40 GHz, 1.93 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension

Graphics Information: HP f1905 flat panel monitor on NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE

Every time I log onto Fiesta on Melodic, I get "Disconnected form the world server" and logged off. When I don't log into any characters but leave the screen on Character select in Epith, I get an X-Trap Error, 31-0400-00000000-102. Tried restarting, same thing happens. Any way I can fix it without reinstalling? Takes me four hours, I'm not putting up with that. I don't have enough time for it, anyway.

mhh does these happen only on Epith?
If u still can log into a diff Server, it may be a temporary bug on the server site.

if that isnt the case:
The world server connection has a xtrap checkup integrated. So there is realy a possible realtion of a "Disconnected form the world server" message and an Xtrap error. Yet i dont think it is.
U tried to remove xtrap?

What version of Fiesta are you running? This problem has been on the official forums once, here. It was solved by an update to their Fiesta.

It would seem x-trap gives this error when the game version does not match the current x-trap version's diagnostics. i.e. X-trap is looking for Fiesta version 1.1.0, but instead finds version 0.97, thus suspecting an "illegal" change (though it's just a wrong version) to the client and immediately terminates Fiesta followed by terminating itself. Perhaps your previous patch did not patch correctly. I do not know. This happens in Cabal and KnightOnline as well, both of which use X-trap. Generally the issue is solved by updating X-trap (which cannot be done in Fiesta) or re-applying client patches.

My solution is to update your Fiesta with the manual patch even if you seem to be using the most recent version of Fiesta (1.2.97), as it may have mispatched through the automatic update. Don't ask how, I'd be at a complete loss to answer that one. Manual patch link can be found here, kindly stickied by Spirit. Please do try this, and if it does work then report back to confirm the solution for the error code. If not, post again so we can continue investigating possibilities.

Okay, thanks so much! ^_^ I'm gonna try that right now!

Don't forget to return with results, I need you to confirm the solution for people in the future experiencing it. It's doubly more important since your case is so unique. You're literally just one of the handful of people who have actively reported the x-trap error code [31-0400-00000000-102]. Only two english results return for a search on the code in Google, so please report your findings.

Okay, I fixed it by redownloading the latest patch and launcher. ^_^
