I was doing a deep search for Adam Bright (GM Dakkon) and came across this forum. So many memories of Fiesta. Glad to see this place is still around. I remember almost all of you like it was yesterday.

playing any games now?

Yes and no. Up until a week ago, I was playing mostly offline stuff. Got a Radeon R9 Fury X and a 144hz freesync monitor. Expensive gaming rig and all that...

Then started doing the developer side of MMOs and now I don't need all of that horsepower. I mostly sit on my own pservers alone,messing around, since I was always a solo player anyways.

I still play Aion, and Fiesta. Log in once in a while so the accounts don't get wiped when they look for stagnant accounts. Nothing like LoL or popular MMos anyways. I really love The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 though lol. Rocket League sometimes.

The screenshot in my sig was actually a screenshot I posted to these forums ages ago. I was kind of proud of this one. Right before my first cash shop makeover with the orange ponytail and hideous cat eyes. Blegh

Witcher 3 is amazing

I've been a HUGE fan of the series since 2008, right around the time I was also most active in Fiesta. The books I discovered way later, but I own as many as they have localized in my language.

I was blown away by TW3. The hype, to me, didn't live up to the game and that's extremely rare these days. I still actively play TW3 and it was released ten months ago. That's almost unheard of in todays games.

I logged into Fiesta a couple months ago. I was really impressed how many upgrades and improvements have been made.

Well, a western company owns it now. They're not treating it like just another MMO flavor of the month that South Korea crapped out.

Yeah SK is pretty well known for cranking out MMOs at a speed of 15/10.

There were maaany positive things I saw from the first few years that Gamigo acquired Fiesta. However it would appear that the momentum is starting to slow down now, as many of the issues and bugs that go unresolved are simple to solve using iQuest or adding inventory items to accounts.

I re-downloaded Fiesta a couple months ago and was actually impressed at all the changes and feature improvements.

I still think my standards would be too high. Once you escape those types of MMOs it's hard to go back. I remember what a grindfest it was. At the time I thought it was normal.

Accounts get wiped? o.o" I haven't logged in in a looooong time but I sure as hell wouldn't want my account to get wiped lol I always think about logging back in just to experience everything again and reminisce about all the good old days


... and I still got that ultra rare blue level 50 shield on my fighter lmao

Pretty sure I had some perhaps rare stuff on my account. But I'm sure it's all considered old and common now. At the time it was a privilege to have. Oh well :T
