Getting the word out.
 

We need to figure out a way to get the word out about this site and the game so lets "brainstorm" in this thread.

How about naming your personal shops as Visit FiestaFan.com or just including that phrase in. Thats how I made FW popular when it was just starting out.

That sounds like a great idea I think ill do that next time i make a shop. I could post that thing in your sig on my sig in FW?

Or I just put it in my GunZFactor signature.. Many many people read mine XD

Hmm well this site is about Fiesta... How could you make a video about a game and then advertise a site in it aswell... hmm beats me.

I still think the best way to advertise in-game is to include FiestaFan.com in your Personal Shops. This way all those shoppers, town bystanders, etc will be able to see it.

Keetos' plan seems the best right now, if you're going to put a shop, make the title, fiestafan.com or something

Post the link on other forums, your signature, tell your friends, tell people to visit the site on the game, make ads on it, and pretty much anything that shows off the name of site..like talking about it near other people on the game or something.

Our best bet is to get it on the outspark forums somehow... I can't do it, cause my IE crashes everytime I visit forums.

Theres a fanfiesta thread on the outspark forums thats bumped up every so often.

Besides the ideas suggested above, we could just link up the game and fanfiesta site to things likes myspace pages or whatever...

Too bad i don't use anything like that..

hehe I could run a myspace page for FiestaFan...ive got a friend that does layouts so ill talk to her if Keetos is interested in that :cool:

Spam on Outspark official forums?

Anything that spreads the name of the site out helps a lot. But the best and most effective way is through the official site (by bumping our FiestaFan thread) or through the game itself (creating parties named after FiestaFan, creating personal shops with the name FiestaFan on it).

In other words...spam on official forums and in-game as well. :eek:

and even myspace when i get bored :P.
were getting word.... just not enough members :S.
but we have like 200 sometin right? i say were doing good for now :D
