I came home... and someone shouted "JOIN GH!"

and i thought.. hey why not, i need boss kill...

Got in a found out that

1. People dont form parties
2. My cleric doesnt party buff
3. We found like 6 keys before someone opened the 1st gate
4. Round 2 - we found TWO keys.. and people key fighter PAST the gate...
5. Someone opened the next gate before everyone's back.. (well half of the people disappeared... i only saw about 5 people on 1 screen at any given time)

6. Someone opened another gate with Marlone..
7. Our only fighter is nowhere to be seen
8. Archer tanking (thats cool) but only 1 cleric healing, she's not potting, another cleric right next to her just afking

9. MORE afkers!

10. lets just say we all died and it was a waste of time...

seriously... "back in those days" GH was the easiest KQ!! you only fail when people dont open the gate..

the one i just went to.. the group doesnt stay together.. half of them were afk and the other half split into 3 groups or something....

It's really sad when you go into a KQ and all of a certain class goes afk.

The problem is.. if 1 or 2 people go afk coz they need to eat dinner, parents called him, kids pulled them away.. or w/e... fair enough

but the amount of ppl that's going afk.. could it really be such a coincidence that 7 people from a KQ all had their parents yelling at them??

I reckon people are thinking "kq is the best way to level without doing anything"

even when they are THERE.. they dont do anything... (like sero? i think... dropped scrolls and the "afk'er" picked it up)

I agree, a time out for no movement so if you sit for 10 minutes you automatically get booted to Roumen.

Some just want the KQ complete by everyone else so they get the exp at the end.

The good old days seem to be gone, where everyone knew what they had to do and there was basically a 100% success rate for all the KQs Gold HIll and lower.

Haha.

I was once used to finishing KKP in 18 minutes flat, or when the timer hits 32.

Now it finishes around 28, and slows down even more. A flood of (yes, I dare to say it) level 70 leechers and players who think they're the best of their class...and hardly compare at all.

I remembered that I've NEVER failed a KQ till I went to Robo. And, I KQ alot at my lower levels. Now its like, I fail at least 2/3 Mara KQs.

Slime usually doesn't fail unless there aren't enough COMPETENT clerics and fighters. Mara fails a LOT. Robo... Omg. Like 75-90% failure rate. MD... A lot.

From memory Robo was very hard even in the "good" days...

now.. all these leechers are gonna go into Robo LEECHING!

no wonder they need all the new quest to help people lvl up... they cant lvl off KQ anymore! seems to me like 50% of them are fails!

I can understand why the failing rate in Mara increase, coz u need a decent tanker than knows how to hold aggro, and 2-3 good clerics (which are like... rare!) then u need NO idiots to pull too many...

but gold hill... 1 boss at a time... how hard is that!

I mean, I pretty much ran the kq....I even TANKED, and I was a cleric.....:sigh:

I was healing and potting, and luckily I had T3 scrolls on...if not, that kq would have been a phailar.

All anyone knew what to do was to kill the little monsters....and at the end, my party was the only people alive because this kq was filled with afk-ers, leechers, and pathetic losers. My party was the only people who were at least half way knowledge-able of where they were, aside the fact that I was the only one healing them....WE'RE IN GOLDHILL PEOPLE! get it in your head -.-

Not only that, someone even said 'flowerssss buff plz' cough Im level 32 UNCOUGH............................:sigh::sigh::sigh: gimmie a flipin' break

I think from now on, i'm gonna have to go into KQs pretending that i'm Soloing the whole thing... I was a Mage in the KQ i posted about, so i couldnt do anything (1HKO... booo)... but i could probably stock up on scrolls and pots with my archer and fighter, and just tank the entire thing myself...

I was OH SO lucky I was a cleric. I didn't even care about the pathetic losers...just my party....so I only healed MY party. Everyone else died and lost <3's...I tried to rev them all but there was like 45 seconds left, and I had to mine the find the key considering I WASSS the only one with a pickaxe....

When we got to the first Marlone boss, some idiot came and pulled it, he died, and it killed everyone BUT two people and they happend to be in my party....

THEN I had to tank the thing....

Time was running out so I just reved my party and went on...I mean, they were srsly the only people that mattered to me at that point, everyone used a heart...but winded up dieing and losing all of them anyway, besides I was already pushed past my boiling point....

I did everything, healed like crazy, this, that, and the other....idk....I can talk about how stupid and unknowledge-able everyone was, all day long....

so essentially, you can win a KQ with jsut 3 people...

yet we're failing with 8 people... and the KQ has slots for 15 people... :sigh:

At the time, me (Cleric - when I was lv. 24), 2 friends (both Fighters - lv. 22 and lv. 19), and another random Cleric (lv. 25) soloed an entire Mara KQ because everyone else died... :cheeky:

In Guild Wars, they installed a function that allows you to report leechers and such. All you need to do, if you have party members leeching, was to simply click on them or their name and type /report. I think that is pretty efficient and outspark should definitely consider it.

I won't even enter a KQ anymore without having a party already formed
before it starts. I went into about 8 robo KQs in a row with my mage
and didn't get partied once, and yes I have resorted to the "no party no help"
policy, I live longer that way.

Win more KQs by creating the party beforehand.

I hate the way things turned out.

I think that When people sit there and not do anything inlike Say 5 Mins they should get Kicked out of KQ I know its meen like but it stops leechers

sad thing for me is that when i do kq's on my laptop, i lag alot, thus not moving for a few seconds, and sometimes D/C ing. It really sucks when your in MD and your about to win, you die, D/Ced, roumen, then ppl start whispering you telling you that i was leeching or something... >.> sometimes i lag to much and i cant move for about 1 or 2 mins! D: then ppl kick me out of pty, m=by the time i snap out of my lag, every1's gone, and sometimes have already defeated the first boss in MD, i then start trying to catch up.. i die, i use heart, i die, i use heart, i finally catch up to where every1 is, MD, and a bunch of ppl from the pty that kicked me started complaining about me leeching.. i told them i had a long time of lag.. and then one of the lvl 45 fighters mocked a giant mob and took them right over to me, he died, saying this is what u get for leeching, then the mob attacks me, i die, no1 rezzes me because i "was leeching" DD:
then i go to roumen and take my anger out in pvp... ;_;
sigh. i remember when i could do robo easily, with no leechers, no bad clerics/ fighters.. i won almost every kq.. now i fail almost every single one i join. T^T
