how do i buff other players?

:lost:

I am so confused! I created a cleric because i really loved it when this random player would show up and give me this great buff that i was totally not expecting. I so wanted to do that! Now I am level 19 and can only seem to buff other players who are in my party!!!!

I just can't seem to figure it out. Please help! and if you wouldn't mind please be simple and complete in your answers...I'm new to the whole gaming thing.

Thank You in advance!

The hp/sp buff comes at level 47. Up until then, you can only do the party buffs and the poison resist buff once you get that.

Hessah 06-17-2008 12:13 AM

the buff that everyone wants is called Endure, and you'll get that skill when you reach lvl 47...

the other buff you may give to other players not in your party is Immune, and you get that skill at lvl 31...

EDIT: I knew i'm gonna be too late!

Spirit 06-17-2008 12:15 AM

 :cheeky:  :sunnies:  :ninja:

Type faster Hess!!!!

Also, the hp/sp buff that you get at 47.... it increases every 12 levels, so the next one comes at 59, and so on and so on.

Hessah 06-17-2008 12:18 AM

I was typing all the gumph...

Protect (lv 11) and Resist (lv 17) are only for party members..

Stoneskin (Lv 31.. i think) is only a self buff... and

Sacrifice (Lv 60) is also a self buff only...

I deleted that half way through coz i thought, i should just answer Joy's question LOL! but still too late...

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much...here i was feeling like such a failure as a cleric because i can't even figure out how to help people, when all along I don't have enough levels for it!

Thanks for the simplicity and quickness of your answers!

Even when you're in the shop? :O <-- Very surprised. Hmm...try putting a little sign saying "AFK to work" or something next time :P Saw this really high level cleric do it yesterday, and nobody was around that person's house. :P But those buffspammers should really learn to respect others :S

Hessah 06-17-2008 07:05 AM

Even mages get asked for buffs coz.... i dunno why actually.. coz ppl are stupid?

Fighters get asked to buff coz they hold the same shield LOL!

Flowersss 06-17-2008 09:09 AM

<----is a fighter with a sheild...and gets asked for buffs CONSTANTLY. Im like...don't you see the big, glowey, OVERSIZED KNIFE in my hands? :)

Villi 06-17-2008 09:26 AM

Flowersss 06-17-2008 09:32 AM

But, I'd call my sword a steak knife. Its sharp, and I wanna POKE the buff askers with it so so badly!

Villi 06-17-2008 09:37 AM

...u may call a thing sumthing else....but it'll ALWAYS be a Butterknife! ^^

Flowersss 06-17-2008 10:07 AM

Arathyne 06-17-2008 01:41 PM

I especially hate the ones who ask for a HP/SP buff when the cleric isn't even lvl 47 -_-.

i think stone skin is 37
i hate now that im 51 cuz everyone like buff...buff..buff
and i like nuu! i dont like u go away
then i run into a mob and fight

Eru 06-17-2008 02:03 PM

would it be bad to ask for like a t1/t2 sp pot or something for giving a buff?

kirbysprite 06-18-2008 04:58 AM

When I used to play, I would tell people, "Join my party and then get buffs. 200c to join my party." I even say, "200c for rez but after I rez them they run." I hate when that happens. I rez them, then they should pay me. It's like being paid to be powerleveled in FlyFF, but then after you level 5 times you leave party and run.

viasta 06-18-2008 05:38 AM

lol..you aren't that smart, people would never pay to be revived and people will just tell you "alright, I'll pay" then you buff/revive them, they don't pay, they don't have to pay you to be buffed or revived, it's your choice to buff them or revive them.

edit:
Hessah....so many people asked me for buff ~_~..and i am a mage, which pisses me off that they can't check I have a staff and I don't have any cleric armors, etc.
