STR and END?
 

I realize that there have been many questions about different ways of building a cleric. I've went through most of them, found they didn't really answer what I was wondering about. So...what do you say about 1:3 (END:STR)? :/

Sorry...maybe I'm confused but isn't a 3:1 (str/end) build basicallly still a str build with some props thrown to end?

I mean generally speaking couldn't u just take what has been written about str builds and assume its about 3/4 accurate for your specific case and then the same for end as appropriate?

or are you looking for hard stats and math n' such?

Another Solo build I assume?


With END that marginal in the equation, why not go full-Str instead of diluting it. STR in later levels has a diminishing return as Mob's HP increases at a faster rate than you can deal damage to it (assuming you don't use +9s)


Either go with more END in your build if you want the benefit or go all STR for soloing.

Full STR for solo.

END is negligible in terms of protection regardless. A 3:1 STR/END build will only reduce its effects farther. At level 79, you would have a 71 STR/23 END build. The bonus defense you receive from those 23 END points is 11.

2.2% block rate is negligible as well, to be honest.

lol...sorry. I was basically saying wot lrva said...that the end seemed a little pointless...and asking if you wanted that stats that Triumph provided...seems you got a great answer in the end tho! (no pun intended)

Just boils down to if you will solo or party more and if you think PvP is at all important. If you're partying, all that Str will go to waste as you'll be nannying your party and not actually hitting anything. The extra HP, Def and Block rate is actually noticable if you cap End at its benefit cap of 50. Pretty useful sometimes.

Str all the way though for PvP and Solo, as points added bypasses mob def but is still reduced by player End.

More STR than END...

That's nice for soloing a lot since STR is mostly for solo.

i solo alot but i also pt alot all my gear got hp and at least
20+spr shield 21+spr hammer + 20 spr boots +28spr pants suck and only got +12spr so i got lots of spr
