I wouldn't necessarily say its "easy"... They haven't done it. xD Even with the new quests, 4x still requires a lot of grinding...

Still massively easier than before though o-o
a level in late 7x used to take 1 or 2 days of non-stop grinding if you had the best possible conditions. Now it's what? A lvl a day going casual? |

1~79 are the easy levels... when all the capped hit lvl 8x it's going to be a ton harder I guess. |
I wonder what they mean by harder though. If they mean grinding like it was pre-monster xp boost patch (which still wasn't that bad for the last tier of the game) or just normal grinding without spammable hihg-xp repeatable quests.

I think the grind right now depends on the quest ... a 1m exp reward for gathering 10 of xx isn't going to help me if xx doesn't ever drop =w= |

Well we all suddenly got a massive quest EXP boost coz they implemented a lot more quest in one go...
so at lvl 65, i've got all the new quest from lvl 60-65 in one go, which probably gave me like 4.5 mil exp (about 65%)... but in reality, if those quests were already there, you'll probably get a quest that gives you 20% or so, and you've gotta grind the rest anyway so i wouldnt say its significantly easier... as with any game... as you get closer to the cap (watever the official cap may be) they make it harder to get to... Someone said in Runescape, it's easier to go from lvl 1 - 209 again than to go from 209 - 210... (assuming 210 was cap) Maybe that's wat he meant by harder... takes longer... |
^Yeah probably. It took me 6 months to get to 60 and the second time around it took me 3 months to get there. o__o So by looking at the trend it should take me... 1.5 months to get a 3rd class to 60? Lol
I was looking through the BK Wiki and their 80+ quests give like 10mil exp. But if you think about it... that probably only adds up to less than 20%? Scary~ |
o.o Hm.. 10m exp quests at Lv80 might give around 40%+ ... Still happy for me. :D

Meh, BK's exp needed to level goes up by a LOT. You though 3mil at level 60 was crazy... you get that in your 40s...

Cheaters wasn't the worst part about it. Community was devastated by the event :/

The 'Legends of Isya' event, ya know, first 3 blah blah of each class and each server to get to 79 gets a (now commonplace) Blue.
Teva and Apoline were lesser servers after the event. |

It created a lot of retarded dramas. I swear, I've never seen a community that is as dramatic, complains, or does as much bitching about others as frequently as Fiesta's does.

What used to be a laid-back, fun and cooperative community was torn by the mad dash to cap of a few people. The really fun people, the real personalities who stayed around to interact were ditched by friends who went off to grind. Bad feeling over restricted grinding areas, never-before seen vindictive GWs (at least among the big guilds) scamming and plain idiocy. |
that sounds like the event wasnt the source but a catalyzer. Imho the real reason was a large base of 59er who all wanted to lvl, and the grinding grounds for that lv couldnt take them at all.
So what happened was a fight over the ground u were grinding on. Of course before the cap lift, people just grinded until 59 was reached without any problem, because it happened over time. So if u want to blame Outspark for something then for lifting the cap much too late. Thats the reason i stay on 71, and do not try to cap. :laugh: When the cap gets lifted i can peacefully grind my way up. |
Not really blaming Outspark for the event, people do what they do and there's nothing that can change that.
The event though was the beggining of the end, melodramatic as that may sound. If there wasn't the event, I really think that the game would have been a whole lot better for it. |
i'm too lazy to read the posts...but the 'hard' part is that till now it has been easy enought for small kids, now it'll be the real game ;)

Their definition of easy meant grinding out 18 million experience at level 78 for level 79? That is 18 hours worth of work amusing the game, rather than the game being amusing.

The new quest exp is lot for 78 though. Booyah went from 77-79 in like two days...

Sorry about off-topic. So the quests apparently are making Fiesta almost grind-less. What about 53-56? Anyone in those levels know if there are many more quests? Like a LOT? |
