Everybody wants blossoms ?
 

I've noticed today that A LOT of shops have appeared in and around Forest of Mist that buy blossoms for around 10s. Can you tell me what these are for ? Are they dropped or farmed ?

Ugh. I do not think I am even going to try for this quest. It is impossible. Some people have bought the gathering pack and they do not care that you are harvesting the flower first. And of course, they harvest faster cuz of the gathering pack.
Plus, my archer has the repeatable quest for herbs. But, you can't even harvest herbs because they drop the Isya blossoms also. I just want herbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be glad when this quest is over and I won't even care that I didn't complete it not even once. :angry:

Yes, this will be merely impossible. Everyone wants to see WF's wedding, and everyone wants a Pegasus >.> Take advantage of this week, you can earn an insane amount of $.

coz i need mushrooms for my scrolls and i'd hate to have to fight for them =/

Yep, bar is still bugged. And I don't know about the shrooms, people seemed to be leaving those alone. Thank goodness. Cuz, I need them for my scrolls also.

I'm saying, instead of acually doing the quest, you can just collect and sell the blossoms. Due to the high demand, you'll sell them fairly quickly. So take advantage of this week that they are in demand because people are paying crazy prices right now.

I'm not going to sell them because I'm too lazy to acually go out and collect them (too busy trying to get to 60 :D), but it's a suggestion for everyone ^^

I think wood drops them too?

well crap. My archer received a quest last night for wodd. Guess, I will be fighting the masses just to get me some firewood for my quest. Ugh!!!!!!

Some of the shops are for high lvled ppl to get the blossoms quick

However, mine, i am taking the advantage of this quest by mkaing a quick buck, because it lasts untill the 22nd of June, ill have quite a bit of cash to spend, ive made 1g in a couple hours... soo yeah :cheeky:

No, the quest does not pay them. They are buying the blossoms from people. And people are selling the blossoms to people.

Then, what are they for ? I saw you would get fireworks with them, but is that all ?

It is a quest with different rewards. My level 47 cleric and 26 archer get fireworks, but my level 53 fighter and 62 Mage get the gathering pack and the pack that increases the drop rate. So, I think the actual in-game reward depends on your level.

However, there is a second contest going on, that whoever completes the quest the most times, since it is a repeatable quest, will get to attend WildFire's wedding. It is like the top 10 or something. Also, the player or a certain number of players who completes it the most times will get a pegasus.

Personally, I fail to see the excitement in this event.

You're going to see a GM "get married." All you do is sit and watch people talk.

Afterwards, the one who slaves the most gets a 30 day reward. If it were permanent, it would be another matter.

Call it cynicism, but I fail to see what's so exciting.

I like the $ making possibilities. There are people who just have to be there. Kind of like its the best party of the year that everyone wants to go to.

Well, I see that the blossoms price between 10 and 15 silvers, that's not bad. As for the event...I guess it will be quite spectacular with fireworks !

EDIT : Well, I had only 23s at lvl19. I now have 150s more...I just sold ten Blossoms in Elderine...

Nope sry, 17X20s in I swear 10 seconds at 7:00am this morning. I was in awe. I said "your crazy, you'll be sitting there all morning waiting for those stupid things to sell."

Just for people that are wondering, everything except mushrooms drop them.

Keep in mind that you have to talk to Vietree before you can find any blossoms. They just won't drop before you get the quest.

from what i know, the first time u complete the quest, u get the gathering pack, and the second time u complete it u get fireworks. thats that

now with the "whoever collects the most flowers" thing

the top 30 collectors get a prize and they get to go to the wedding, but the top 10 collector get Pegasus

I have yet to complete the quest on any of my girls and two of them get fireworks has the reward. :lost: She was never offered the gathering pack and drop reward. bug?

what does that yellow bar on gather even mean

Used to be that if you stopped the moving bar right over the yellow area that you gathered the item instantly. Speculated to be intentionally disabled by devs as a stopgap against the exploit to exponentially widen the 'sweet spot' and instant gather.

The Fireworks are like mini ones, that go off above ur CD

they could be used for anything, to attract attention to urself, or for the Fourth of July, or on ur birthday, lol

I doubt its a bug, i have a friend (Jal =D lvl 60+) shes waaaaay up there on the Apoline servers... so is Gracie, but thats not the point

Maybe its the server difference or maybe ur just unlucky :tongue:

idk, could be a bug, i myself didnt do the quests, i just kinda bought my fireworks :sigh:

thats hard reality. They had the choice between deactivating, or allowing instant gathering. :eep:

edit: in the next time i take a look at the rohan fishing system. It has the same problem: Client based timing influencing a server result.... wouldnt it be cool to always hit the perfect spot ^^"
