Open Beta Coming
 

Hello players,

The second Fiesta Closed Beta ends today at 11:59 PST (-0700 GMT).

As previously mentioned, this means all game data will be reset. All character information including quest progression, inventories, skills, etc. will be deleted. Members who participated in the name preservation event of the first Closed Beta will have the names of qualified characters automatically assigned to new ones of the same gender and class.

The database will not be reset again. Fiesta will enter open beta this Friday, August 24 at 3pm Pacific Standard Time.

Ugh... That's it? So they aren't going to implement regular PVP? I'm not joining a guild just to pvp because I don't like many people that enough to join one.

Also are they going to let you keep your OB characters when they actually launch? Because if they wipe after OB then I'm just waiting for launch.

Dang I was only 78.2% away from 39. Which means I was only 178.2% from 40. That would have only taken me roughly 15 hours.

In response to bcdood, yeah all characters will be reset for Open Beta, so just take a break from the computer/Fiesta til then.

Noone is understanding or doesn't know what I'm asking. I'm ASKING if they will wipe AFTER open beta. Like after you build your character in OB do they wipe when they launch?

I manage to get one gold (at last) and the day I accomplish that...CB ends. Lol, the irony. :D

Triumph! xD I wanted to show you some 1 g 320 s but you weren't around! I was so happy to see that 1g after I NPC'ed most of my stuff >.<

I managed to get 3k hp at level 35. ;3; Didn't go train using it though.

So why are there so many guilds all the sudden?

Personally im glad the CB2 is finally over I wasnt really keen on keep lvling and getting nice rare items just for it all to be reset. Id rather it be reset now and start OB so I can acually build towards something instead of building for nothing. All in all CB2 was awsome and I enjoyed it, anyone who complains about leveling when you were under 30 I pitty you and you obviously havnt played WOW or any other GOOD MMO. Anyone level 50+ I feel bad for you to get all your stuff wiped but we all knew it was coming so noone to blame but yourself :) . I think that PVP should be implemented its gona be a pretty crudy game after a while with only guild wars. I acually got to participate in the PVP a few times only got 15 kills but it was fun while it lasted till they removed the NPC to send you to the battle fields, Also if they do decide to add a PVP system it should be rated for people within 10 levels of each other. I hated when I was like 20 and some lvl 40 came in and just 1 hit me it needs to have some kind of level cap for each arena or something like that just to keep it fair so people dont get discouraged.

PS: When OB comes out I think everyone that is really into the game and is on these forums we should all make a Fiesta Fan guild thad be pretty cool.

Oh btw, I tested that delete then re-make really quick, it worked no delays at all..

wow, guess i chose a good time to be forced to not play then (college ;_;).

Is that sarcastic? Well I have something to do tell friday.

1. wow wasnt a good rpg except its pvp
2. most high lvls are sad they lost their characters but they arnt hte way you put it, blaming themselves etc
3. this game had pvp before, the gm were jerks and took it out and used it for events only

I don't think you can blame that on GM's its more like the developers who take it out.

nope not sarcastic at all. i'm lvl 26 right now i think. if not for college i would've been grinding for the past couple of weeks and may even be up to your level now. i think if i got to a higher level, spent more time on the game i'd be less enthusiastic about playing again after the wipe.

yes, but depending on how hw goes i may have more time now that classes are about to start. during orientation i had like no time. of course time also depends on when other people have classes too and how much they have to do :x

For all you Ex-Maplers out there I think they should do prizes for CBers like the Mark of the Beta from Maple Story where people could LOOK AT THEM and see that they participated in Closed Beta 3+ Years from now. Like equipment a pet a mount(maybe even the first VISIBLE hat) tell me what you think about that idea.

They shoulda done something cooler... :( like they did in WoW with all the Nax. XD that woulda ruled. But there wasn't THAT many high level people anyways. :(

True wow wasnt a very good rpg but I liked the PVP system and I also liked all the gear you could progress with. It seems they have a pretty basic system of gear I do like the enchant system on Fiesta rather then wow I never really liked those enchants %chance on hit crud. I did get to go and do some pvp before they took it out and yea it was fun they should add it back or something like it.

Seriously can't wait for open beta :)

I might wait awhile before I start the Open Beta.

Then me and Dynanub will have no tank to party with ;~;
