Okay. My friend posted this some time ago, and I feel that this it's a need for everyone on Fiesta Fan to know as well. (P.S: THIS IS NOT WRITTEN BY ME)

Recently, I've been asked by many, many random newbies for powerleveling when I walk around Roumen or Elderine.
As many other people around my level are.
Heck, even my level 35 mage gets asked for power leveling.


... And when you ask why do they want power leveling?

"Because its too hard to level!"

...is their answer.

And my response to this?

I am one of them old players, who have been playing since closed beta.

Closed Beta.

Back when 90% of the population uses +0 NPC weapons.
Back when a +6 NPC weapon is godly.
Back when +9 Boss weapons didn't exist.
Back when my +3 GGK two handler is one of the best weapons in the server.
Back when we have lesser stones than the current mage's capacity.
Back when you actually have to rest when soloing, because if you don't, you'll run out of stone in 15 minutes.
Back when we all wear +0 NPC armour.
Back when 200s at level 50 is a lot.

This was when open beta just started.
I have been through land, tides, and fire.

But now?

90% of the population uses enchanced Green weapons.
+6 weapons is simply too weak.
+9 weapons are everywhere.
My +3 GGK is officially weak.
We have stones enough for an hour of soloing.
Read above and you know you don't need to rest.
+0 npc armour? You can find green armour for cheaper.
200s at level 50? You'll be laughed at.

You guys are living a life of luxury.
The last thing I want is a newbie coming to me, spamming "lv pls", because its "Too hard to level".

So for everyone wanting to be power leveled...

Don't.

I'm sick of random party invites, and people asking me for "lv pls".

...And you don't even ask in complete sentences. Not that it'll change anything...

RIP CB and OB pre-cap raise. You shall be missed.

First of all I wasn't around at the begining, in fact I've only been playing for like four months. That said LEVELING IS NOT HARD. In fact I believe with the added quests and increase in quest xp you don't even need to grind for the first 30 to 40 levels. Just do your quests and you will level.

The problem is human nature of I want it all right now. I don't want to work for it just give it to me. It's the same reason people complain when they put up a new patch and somethings go wrong with it. No one can be content. I have fully enjoyed playing for four months and being level 45. I don't play more than say 10 or so hours a week. I have done my quests, made friends, partied, and leveled.

There is no need to power level Fiesta is built so you level easily. Especially now that greens are everywhere. (side note: I've had to sell level 60 green armor with okay stats for less than the NPC regular armor because no one wants to buy it) Now it may get harder for me as I get higher but whats the point if I spend a week playing the game and cap out.

Long winded response and I'm sorry about that.

I'll hit the noob with my hammer if they still say "lvling is too hard" with all the new quests fresh out of the oven...

I remember those days. I would actually prefer them now. You didn't look bad if you were wearing npc +0 and I remember even getting my level 30 armor was tough in CB.

I got 300c+ at Lv70. x_o

First five are true. I recall being able to grind for two hours soloing before needing to restone as a cleric, so the sixth is false. Also, the last is false. Many people had gold through an exploit in CB1, and I myself had 400s by the end of the first month of OB. Not to brag, but 200s was not a lot by the standards of many.

All but the stone comment is true. Clerics have ~300 SP stones by level 79...they can stay and solo for an eternity.

For the most part true, though. Seva himself deleted all 38 gems and now resides in Rohan, simply because the game is warped beyond recognition...

As for comments by community leaders, you should know what to expect. Half of them are woefully incompetent.

It's not written by me. And also, a cleric and a fighter is different when solo-ing. Because fighters can't heal themselves without stoning or potting.. Yea.. I think my friend was referring to the majority of the classes that cannot heal.

And also, Seva isn't playing Rohan. He said it sucks.

It must have been hard to push the delete button.

Saw him recently in Torian.

Guess he quit.

Lol wow Sinto, that quote you took from your friend has nothing wrong in it :P So true, true, true, true...

RIP CB D:...I think actually before they nerfed quests and other stuff in preparation for CB2 the game was also alot more enjoyable but these are just my opinions. Its been along time since ive played.

@Sinto Seva is still playing Rohan hes lvl 38 or 39 atm been a few hours since i logged out lol so dont know ~.^.

Lol. I was a CB tester I wasn't invited in CB1 then I was invited in CB2.
Lol I was an archer then and I just about wanted to trade nearly all the things I had for a +6 bow off some guy.
I found this guy with a +9 lvl 15 bow I wanted to buy that off him he said a GM made it for him and he said he was selling it for 10s ^^ what a good deal if it was today, but I didn't even have like 4s at lvl 15.

I really and truly wonder why people want to be given everything. I personally think that hard work is more rewarding.

I get asked all the time too (being a lvl 40 cleric) I simply say the it is a misconception. you can lvl faster if you buddy up with another low lvl character and grind out the quests fast togehter. you WILL get more xp for doing quests than any plvling. and the time you waste looking for Plvl you could have just lvled.
