Leechers and Idiots
Was doing phino kq and yet again...more than half of the people that joined were leeching and a person thought it was fun so he pulled mara and hide it making the rest of the people that's NOT leeching not being able to finish the kq. And some of the leechers actually got blue weaps by not doing nething
|
thats how it goes.
if u want u can remember there name and guild. So u can remember them the next time they want to be in your party/guild. Or when they want to buy/sell something. If someone realy acts like an idiot, u may also talk to his guild master. And it also important to know that the actions of a single guild member always reflect on the guild too. And high lvl guilds should care about there image if they want to live on. |
I hope Outspark decides to do something about this. Unfortunately there aren't any rules for this atm D:

hmm...
I've been accused of leeching before because I was standing back healing... (was ptyd with mage a fighter) I even said that I was a support build and didnt hit for much, especially when compared to the mage's dmg...and that I *had* been healing etc and that was kinda how ptys worked with support clerics... im not sayin that was the case with Ringetsu, but some ppls opinion of leeching is apparently not dealing any damage =/ |

The ingame community can handle such problems very well in there own. And actually calling a gm into such a situations would be like having a court case because of even the minutest disagrements. In fact people are already using the strong involment of the gms as a way to threaten others. Real life Example: "Don't KS me, or im gonna report u". |

"a person thought it was fun so he pulled mara and hide it making the rest of the people that's NOT leeching not being able to finish the kq"
KKP is an awesome Kingdom Quest, not to mention good rewards and exp. It remains a mystery to me, what makes a few people wanna screw it up badly. Boredom however is awfully a lame excuse. |
it's because the KQ's too easy so people think they can justify their leeching

So if outspark says that leeching in a kq is not allowed, they will have to react on reports of ppl leeching in a kq. And that comes with a long rat tail. Because u cant just jail/ban the accused person. They actually have to investicate. I personaly think that people should try to solve there own problems, and only in extrem cases contact the gms. |

I think it's extremely annoying to have to work harder, and spend more money on stones from spamming skills, and maybe die so there goes scrolls...
because someone wants to leech. When some people want to leech, they're capped players that are pumped full of Cash Shop, so what are you going to do? I've heard the excuse of 'When I was lvl 74 I did this KQ duo with my tank, you don't need me' once. People that leech are making money off of the efforts of other people. You can get so rich, so fast from KKP if all you do is chain KQ's, and leech. I don't think it's right to be able to make money, and everything else off of other people's work. |
the KQ is the only thing that makes Fiesta stand out from everything else, they should look into ways to prevent the few ruining it for everyone.
People who try to logically justify leeching.... --->fail |

meyb they could build in some type of "participation monitor" to the KQ system? Like u need to deal damage or heal or something every so often. I guess, for healing it would need to be a non-self target too ;) dunno tho...interesting topic |
^ interesting idea, though I wouldn't suggest it be applied to Mara, GH and Slime KQs, I can't leech anymore ._. :eep::smile:

What the... So...
Removing a leech If you are bitten by a leech and are compelled to remove it before it has had its full (leeches drop off on their own when they are done feeding), you can do so by following these steps: 1. Identify the anterior (oral) sucker which will be found at the small end of the leech. 2. Put your finger on your skin adjacent to the oral sucker 3. Gently but firmly slide your finger toward the wound where the leech is feeding. Using your fingernail, push the sucker sideways away from your skin. 4. Once you have dislodged the oral sucker, quickly detach the posterior (rear) sucker (the fat end of the leech). Try flicking the leech or proding with your fingernail. As you work to remove the leech, it will attempt to reattach itself. 5. Keep the wound clean -- minor cuts in tropical climates can quickly become infected. The leech itself is not poisonous. The wound will itch as it heals. ^ I surely wanna see this happen in a King Kong Phino Kingdom Quest :cheeky: |
The participation counter idea is good, but whet if there was something where if... I dunno... seven different people in the KQ voted against a leecher that they wouldn't either be able to be in a party, get items, or perhaps get half EXP or something. :p Just a random thought.

Really... if anyone has taken the time to notice, [GL]Nei has been coming into more and more KKP KQ's...
and he jailed my best friend for saying "FUC YOU (insert name)" jokingly after being disconnected repeatedly during the KQ. Increased leeching = increased monitoring by Mr. Nei. =x |

They should have it like 3 minutes without activity in a KQ u get dc'ed .... or kicked out ... just like they have in other games..
|
~.~ we found a solution in the end....a troublsome one..but it works...pull king kong phino..all the way to the beginning and chain kill all of them... =_=" (serves them right nyahahahah~!)
|
^Wow, that's a bothersome tactic.
I know that in another game there's an item you use on a bot to send a pop-up window. They need to be able to fill it in or they are reported. So I guess, they could do that here... and have them kicked out. Unless that person is just sitting in front of the computer. D: Either way, leeching in any KQ is just wrong. If you want to be so damn lazy I'd suggest you quit the game as it will only get harder (or get killed multiple times by KKP). And as lvra mentioned, trying to justify leeching is just plain wrong. |

And mikey, what if I had to go to the bathroom? :eep: |
would be funny if people got reported for training and banned... ^

How about this. My level 23 (now 25) archer was allowed to play yesterday, and so I took her into a few Gold Hill KQs. This one archer would click on "follow" on ME, without even asking and I had to drag her around the entire KQ. At the boss, she would go off follow and shroom up until we killed the boss.
There needs to be an option for us to "un-follow" someone, so that I do not have to drag her lazy leeching butt all over the place. And btw after the third time of her following me, and yes, every KQ, it was always ME she followed. I drug her the opposite way from the crowd and went suicide. Then the mobs killed her also. I used a heart and ran to catch back up with the crowd. I couldn't help it. |

Also, xp counters for each individual? You have to meet a certain requirement inorder to receive anything? idk, a thought. |
