Annoying things that didn't exist before I came back!

Some annoying changes that happened while I was on Fiesta break.

When mining/farming, even when I hit the little bar, I still have to wait for the whole thing to finish anyway. What crap is that? Why is it even there...
X-Crap...I mean X-Trap..Decent anti-hack, it's best features are random computer crashes and BSOD. I've dealt with X-Trap for 5 years now in several games. It's easy to disable and the reason you should can be quite obvious(I'm not saying I did). After I closed Fiesta today, I had an unexpected retstart. No reason. Same thing happens when I try to open my process viewer(processxp.exe by Microsoft: Taskmanager replacement). Yet bot's still exist and people still spam, some of the biggest problems in the game!
I also think GM events are great! But why the main city like Elderine? Put it in SoG or FoM where we won't lag like crazy.
Annoying guilds, that during GW, like to kill venders.
KQ's today are much harder to get into. Usually you go from: Schedualed --> Recruiting --> In Progress. But it's much more fun when it skips the recruiting. Doesn't happen all the time but sometime it does and before it never did. Also, KQ's don't start at the correct time during events.
Marketplaces should be the only places in the city that allow shops, cut down the lag please. Either that or show shops in character hide mode.

It's a bug that happened once before, but it was fixed. Then it happened again after some patch, and it still hasn't been fixed. Dx

Because if you die in other maps you lose EXP. I guess they could do it in Roumen but you get more people in Eld so you get more people participating.

Can't help with the X-Trap and KQ lag and stuff, but they do suck. Dx

Welcome to Epith. Where most of the time it goes Scheduled--->Preparing--->In Progress. :)

1. the yellow bar is a bug that is yet to be fixed...

2. Yeah they put xtrap in, then took xtrap out.. then put it back in... and i think they're trying to modify it... some people cant even play coz of it, consider urself lucky LOL

3. Everyone lose exp when u put itin SoG and FoM... they should've spawned them in Ox field or free battle zone or something though...

4. You are on Epith that's why :D make a new alt with no guild to vend...

5. Happens to me very often on weekends. Good luck with the next one!

1) Can't wait.

2) Punkbuster or even GameGuard is a step above this. I have been coding hack protection for 2 years now for various games, end userablilty is key!

3) Yea, I realize about the EXP loss now. But moving to a battle ground or seperate "Event Map" would be better.

2) hvnt heard of punkbuster, but people were raging about GameGuard too so that's probably not a good alternative... Xtrap is wat the other versions of Fiesta use.. the developers wouldnt want to have to maintain different security patches... (i rather them use the time to update and fix the our yellow bar bug LOL)

3) Event Map is a good idea.. i thought that's wat Ox Field is....

Rumor is that the gathering bug was intentionally put in by Outspark the second time to avoid people using Ghostly's gathering "hack"/file modifications.

Why don't they just server-side the gathering files? v_v"

Punkbuster is what WoW uses.

X-Trap is used by most small time korean starting games, don't know why..maybe it's cheap.

A lot of Fiesta Maps are too small....

I've been playing Rohan a bit and the maps are much bigger.

Honestly, I like this "didn't start on correct time" thingy. It help me get into the Kq easier. When the time changed, everyone click click click and didn't get in. I wait until it turn into "Recruiting" then i let go of my mouse, and i got into the Kq.

(I press the "participate" button, didn't let go, when it "recruiting" then i let go.)

but that's also coz one fo the highest level ppl... not many ppl are of ur levels doing ur KQ... ie. less competition

Ours fills up instantly actually. Unless it's at a time where everyone goes to sleep, then it takes 10mins-1hour to fill up completely. And I just.. stare at the status thingy.. without even blinking.,

Have a watch nearby that shows seconds. A few minutes before your KQ starts, start watching your second clock and the KQ clock and memorize when your KQ clock turns the next minute and when your watch clock turns. Wait for your watch to be twenty or so seconds before your KQ clock ticks, and stare intensely at the status. Press down on your left mouse key and release at the right time. If you want to check if you are lagging or not, click the Participation key before the KQ is recruiting. How much you are lagging will affect how long it takes for the "cannot find KQ" message to show up. Move to a different place accordingly.

^ once I started doing that, I have NEVER missed a single KQ LMAO. It took me a long, looooooong time to think of it =w=

^ that works too. Even if I'm on MSN or FF I'll still know when it would say Recruiting, cause my PC clock is 5~10 seconds advanced my IG clock. And I check often.

If you think straight.... The bots and spammers get manualy logged in by some nerd who can't be bothered to level/mine whatever themselves.... so of course they can get around the anti hack system!
