Is this a smart way of getting money?
Okay, first buy alchemy stones. Then use your composition skill and make them better, then sell them to NPC's. Smart?
|
Go sapping in AEW.

If ya can't handle teh shiz in AEW, stay in Uruga~
|
No. You lose money when you both Decompose and Compose and sell the products to the NPC.
Decompose can make you money if you decompose something that people are paying a lot for like SBL or something. Hard to make money Composing unless... maybe someone wanted stuff like Intact Bones or maybe HQ BD? I dunno. I don't know the numbers for those things so I can't tell you if that would make you money or not. |
What Ralath said. Gonna pull numbers out of the air for this example. It takes 16 summoned beast leather LQ to comp up 1 SBL Reg. You could sell the LQ for 5 coppers each. This equates to 80 copper if you sold the LQ to the NPC. You can only sell the reg to the NPC for 60 copper. <--- may not be exact numbers, but it works out like that for all of them. Same for decomping. You can sell the reg. for 70 copper, but if you decomp 1, it decomps down to 14, this equates to 70. You lose copper no matter which way you go with it.

Faster way is sapping... Uruga has many wood spots far from monster spawn spots, you can give it a try sometime. And hope for the best.
|
If you can't handle mobs in AEW, you'll die perhaps once every two or three minutes and annoy everyone who happens to be in the area...
|
Not much of a difference, just that AEW has Highest Quality Saps. And since you're a cleric, don't go there till 47. I think~
|
What level should I be in Uruga?
|
Mmm, it's not that smart. For one, I buy as from players because I'm saving up fame. And as Spirit/Ralath said, whatever you do, you're going to lose money off it o-o Decomp is a better way to level up lower produc skills, but comp isn't all that useful unless you're comping an alt's drops for a higher leveled produc skill or you're decomp/comp recycling. |

Oh, stay away from Pinkies. |

-.- I've never found good spots in Uruga. I always die there when I sap/shroom on my alt. |
I don't either, I just go look for some I can get...
|
Oh. I always get killed because I'm too greedy.
Good thing I don't lose xp. xD |
I ain't either but I die a lot.
BoT? Lucky XD That's why I gived up = =; But anyways yeah, Golden Cave is a good place too... But risky... |
Nuu. I just have a level 9 farmer in Uruga. :3
|
Oh but it gets a bit boring too Dx
Get him in Golden Cave =D |
._.
I'm not sure he can get there... |
Wait for someone to go there and just follow? Or if it's not so heavily guarded ^^
Anyways you'd find another problem when you get there XD those darn Cave Pinkies Dx but you'd be lucky to get Sapphires $_$ |
I'd keep my Sapphires, just because they are going to be worth a lot when T4 Stone Production comes out. ^.^
|
Wait, you sure? Or you just guessing... By that time the badges would be put to use too right?
|
badges? Signs? o.O
|
What signs?
And yes, Master Commander's Badge and Iron Badge. |
I didn't quite know what badges you were referring to .__o
Not even sure what branch of alchemy they're supposed to be used for, but maybe they're another glitched, unneeded ingredient, who knows... |
It said stone material I think? Thought they'd apply to T3 ones... I failed. And keeping them was useless after all ._.
|
Even if the materials isnt something that other players want, you lose out...
1 Tender Meat = 50c NPC Decomp into 11 Tough Meat = 3c (Total 33c to NPC) You're better off just NPCing the higher tier material. |
And on additional note, you could sell them to player stores too... And get like more than twice NPC price~
|
Yeah but once they realize that they just bought something for double the price they going to be pissed
|
^ that would be for the idiots. Some players do that on purpose maybe cause they're rich or really need it... Like I see Dim Dusts being wanted for like 100c each, MQ SBL 150~200c each, SBT 100~150 each.
|
those are the people who work on prod skills, dim dusts have been about the same price for a while, even before the explosion in price with the advent of T3 CS stones. It's held steady at about 80-100c so it's not too bad.
