For Econ, we're going to play a geography game :p

Points are given when the globe asks for a country, and we poke the globe with this thing that'll tell you if you got it right or not.

Average score for each person = grading scale for the class, which means you can't get lower than an 80% on it.

I remember my german exam @.@ 270 questions.

one of my teachers....made the test just like our study guide, then let us use our study guide on the test :D I made a 95 on it because she subtracted 5 points because I was talking >.>

hmm...seniors didn't have to take finals where I went to high school as long as they got at least a C and a D over the last two nine-weeks...

although I don't think Florida is known for its educational system :D

When I was in school, if you had perfect attendance or an "A" average, you could skip all of your final exams. I never took an exam.

imho, HS grades didn't count for much...especially if you were going into a state-uni that was in the same state as your HS...

also, HS gpa (or SAT/ACT scores) is no good indicator of college success...oddly enough tho, college GPA is no good indicator of job success

Always. Through-out my entire Jr. High and High School, I never took an exam. We had exams at the end of the first half and second half, I never took not a one.

In fact, my senior year of high school, I only went to school for 3 hours a day. Then left for the day. I had all my credits I needed to graduate with an advanced diploma, so I was allowed to only take 4 classes, but the 4th was lunch and I skipped it everyday. The only down-side, was I had to have gainful employment. But, I did and I never told them I was getting out of school early, so they still did not put me on the schedule until after 3:30, lol.

Seriously. I always had perfect attendance and an "A" average, so even if I slipped up in one area, the other area had me covered.

now that is a sweet deal...wish I could do that now with my current job:D

The key was to work the teachers so they never reported you absent. :D. I was a sweet child, my teachers all loved me. :)

missed this one, ummmm....... No, I never faked sick. I actually loved school.

aww you are all lucky, in my district area the reguire "tasks" and project we have to do to be able to graduate our senior year is have 3 "tasks" for every class each year in HS and have this huge annoying project called capstone. if all of these were not done and even if you were an A student, they would hold you back senoir year till you get all of the tasks and capstone project done. andd all the tasks had to be scanned into the computer system, which of course with over 2,000 students the system crashed alot =/. least to say that was not fun lol

Still am, but my fuse is a lot longer. I would stand up for the kids that everyone else pushed around. I also didn't take any crap off anyone. But, looking back, I know that fighting was not the answer. <---- a little "momma" coming out in me. Although, there was one case where fighting was the only way to end the "problem". But, that was extreme measures.

I got a free 15% for one of my subjects for attending all my labs. :D

Wish I get that for other subs. =[

I am not scared of him, because I am not scared of anyone. We have been over this before.

Okay, I will give you the short version. I got into a lot of fights. Like to the point that they told me one more fight and I would be expelled. So long perfect attendance, so long A average. So, I promised Loki that I would behave. But, this one girl that I could not stand knew this and would try to entice me. She would constantly mouth to me, pour tea in my hair at lunch, and stupid stuff like that. Now, keep in mind, we were 16, I was in the 11th. grade, so it was not like she was 5 and acting like this. I asked the teachers to make her stop (which was not my normal thing, usually I would have already decked her), I talked to the principal (which, btw, we were on a first name basis), I even told mother about her, because I refused to put her in her place. Mother talked to the principal, but nothing was done. I was basically told to ignore her. I tried. But, one day at lunch, she decided to grab my shirt by the collar, yank it down, and pour a glass of lemon-ade down my shirt. She then took off for her life. I chased her down and caight her, but before anything could happen the principal grabbed me and made me go to class. Well, a friend of mine had to go get me his gym shirt, because my white shirt was soaking wet and I was ummmm.... well you get the idea. I sat in class for another hour fuming and feeding my anger. So, after that class I hunted her down and beat the crap out of her.
My mother went to bat for me and argued with the principal about how I tried to avoid her and we even went to them for help and yada yada yada, so in the end I did not get expelled. But, that is the only one that I can think of that was truly justified. The others, at the time, I thought they were, but looking back, they were not.
