[SSBB] Your best character(s)
 

I was just wondering what character everyone likes/is best with.

I've technically "mastered" Wolf & Falco. And I'm working on mastering either Toon Link or Sonic.

But I'm not EXACTLY sure on what to master besides Wolf and Falco (Toon Link + Sonic are just maybes).

So if you are really good with someone, or you really like that char, please post who it is and WHY.

I mastered almost all characters, I am just too lazy to master Yoshi or Bowser

Pikachu, Marth, Jigglypuff, and Ike
just because they are all pwnage

Reserve: C.Falcon

Yeah, I've heard Lucas is godly when you know how to use him.

Lucas was said to be one of the strongest character in Brawl.
PK Freeze, freeze the guy, then do PK Fire, push the guy away, off the stage, then freeze again, so the enemy can't get back up. There's other crazy moves.

And I beat Brawl in 5 hours ;D then played few hours of Wifi, then stopped

EDIT: I heard that the top characters in Brawl (as far as overall performance/ownageness) are:

• Ike
• Lucas
• Wolf
• Ganondorf
• Pit
• Pikachu
• Sonic

Favorite character is Lucas and he is the one I've practiced with the most.

I was looking at the official strategy guide to the game and they rank all the characters based on Offense, Defense, Final Smash, Throws, and returns I think. Marth got the highest score of 9/10. Lucas was a 7. Diddy Kong was an 8. Worse character for them had a 4 out of 10. Captain falcon got an 8 too.

Ike, yeah, he's super good in Team Battles

Wolf, idk, never played against a good Wolf

Ganon, didn't he get nerfed from Melee?

Pit, the noob character, yeah except he can get gimped alot

Pikachu, one of my favorite character because of the dsmash.

Sonic, I don't like him so I don't know.


Didn't I have a topic about Brawl, some months ago, of course posting in it would probably be necroing...


Oh yeah I like Kirby, Dedede, Pikachu, Mr G&W, R.O.B.

Kirby because Kirby cool... no typo.

Dedede because his aerials rock!

Pikachu because I like to spam the Dsmash and make everyone annoyed.

G&W because I heard he got better and he did.

R.O.B. because his gyroscope or whaever that spinny thing is is super cool!

D:, you play Pikachu the noob way like ppl use Pit's noob way of attack? D: evil.

Hey, I like annoying people in Brawl...

Pikachu it's the dsmash.

Pit and Kirby it's the taunt. I love spamming "THE BATTLE IS ON!"


What's Pit's noob way of attack?

U guys know nothing about brawl >.>.

Top Tier in tourney performance are:

1. Snake
2. Metaknight
3. Marth or King DeDeDe or Wolf

the game is somewhat uber broken... U cant say u mastered the game until u know what u can actually do in the game >.>.

Also I dont like brawl much since its rather boring to me compared to melee but of course I dont think people would understand why =P.

Watching some of those combo videos, they are cool. But the players they face against need to learn how to air dodge....especially against marth.

iono about u but most of the vid the people are air dodging and trying to get back.

This game is just relatively broken to a certain degree with certain character and there advantages.

Also good thing u bring the point about Air dodging which brings me to another bad thing about this game. No such thing as combos unlike Melee.

Yeah, you can air dodge as much as you want and still jump.

I agree Falco...

Melee was MUCH better than Brawl, imo. D:

I like brawl better than melee.

I like Brawl because of the more stuff you can do. :D

Anyway, there are lots of reasons why people say Melee is better.

• Wavedashing
• Combos
• Throws
• Fox was godly
• Crouch-canceling

I like the character balance in this one. :3

Well I think that I'll work on King Dedede, just played a few rounds with him - damn he hits a lot + high defence :3

Actually ur wrong =P. Its not that Melee had wavedashing, combos, throws, fox was godly w/e.

- Its the fact that the game is fun to play in friendlies and that yes there is combos but hey it makes it all more interesting in tourney

- NOW let say i play a brawl friendly... There is no such thing as combos and the fact that half the people CAMP during tourney.

- ALSO there is an imbalance issue because certain char just have too much priority over the other.

- Now of course your gonna argue well Fox is broken in Melee ... WHICH is true... But you just dont know many pros that have diff main that make them good. The LAST BIG Melee tourney was won my MANGO a Jigglypuff player. So you cant say fox is broken cause you really dont know what other char are capable of.

-Melee is a faster based, more fun, and CAPTAIN FALCON!!! DOES NOT SUCK. While in Brawl instead of keeping them balance, they NERFED Falcon and ganon when they really didnt need to be >.>.

- SURE Brawl is a new game... everyone says that because its new that we should give it a chance and I agree. I already gave it a chance and from what I see half the game is revolved around chaingrabbing and Infinites. I mean it took skills to combo in melee but chain grabbing in brawl is like anyone can do it...

- Everyone has their own personal liking to w/e game they feel about but for me I rather play Melee for fun and brawl just for money. I cant play brawl for more then 1 hr at first and now its like 20 mins LOL.

- If I travel to a tourney I dont want to travel like 500 miles away just to get camped and lose. Thats just stupid in my opinion...

- If you like brawl then go for it ^^ im just trying to show a few clips on what brawl is like and how it is developing to be.

I didn't say Fox was broken. Yes, Jigglypuff kills Fox. I have four stocked my brother, who plays as Fox, with Jigglypuff. I said was Fox was godly, godly meaning used well if used in the right hands. I have beaten my brother with Sheik, Peach, Falco, Jigglypuff, Mr. Game & Watch, and many more characters.
