Problems getting through gates?
 

I have in the last few days started to have trouble getting through gates. On my way to cp from uruga I had the load screen freeze up twice. I had to reboot both times and today going from eld to cp.

Anyone else experience this?

I did a search and didn't find anything so I thought I would ask FFans first.

I have that problem with all the CP gates for some reason. :\ Especially the Eldy one, both ways.

my loading time for all! gates is like 5min it really makes me mad like
ever since the uru event its been doin it to me like ugh xD

Try rebooting your computer?

If it's going slower than usual, rebooting should fix that right up.

I noticed portal problems recently too...only in and out of FoM and Elderine tho.

would be interesting if they could somehow tie this into gameplay.

like a standard quest that requires you to kill this amount of this kind of mob for special quest drops. Mobs and quest rewards dependent on your level.


Or maybe a special event KQ where people are warped into a Robo/Spider like dungeon with ores, the energy source being inside them. Some people have to fight off the waves of monsters while the rest mine, but you can only open the ore by hitting the yellow part that mines automatically. There's a time limit where you have to gather a certain amount of 'energon'.

After a certain amount of energy is collected, they release a patch that fixes the gates. Possibilities...

or you open tier 1 gates with the tier 1 gate open skill bought from skill master Ruby for 3s

I have run into this one time, I was riding my sturdy wooden horse from roumen gate to fom I double clicked the gate and a box popped up that said "Cannot authenticate" and kicked me from the game! I logged back in and was fine but really wierd.

My frd has that problem once.. he was in roumen... trying to scroll to Uruga... 3 times he froze on him, and he lost 3 uruga scrolls only to be still in roumen........

omg that sucks... I ported from uruga to eld today cause I was in a hurry and went to the blue sky world where you cant really do anything, logged off and logged back in and ended up in roumen. Took me 10min to find someone to sell me a eld scroll cause no one was selling them and i had just used my last one.

Roumen to Eld doesn't take that long....

The funny thing with me is, I get randomly ported to Roumen a lot too. Yesterday, I was fighting in GC, and I got disconnected (I was NOT lagging before the disconnection). When I logged back in, I was in Roumen having lost 3k exp :(
