Why are there so many kids in this game?
 

Now usually when you play online games you see teenagers or people in their early 20s and 30s, but in Fiesta Online all I see is the game riddled with kids of the ages of 7-12. What makes this game so popular to kids? I've seen less little brats in games like Runescape and Maplestory.

And I'm tired of people asking questions that the tutorial has already gave the answers too. It wasn't too much to ask for to READ the small ammount of information in the tutorial, was it? This is a beta testing... You're supposed to test out every single thing in the game to find bugs to report, not for entertainment.

Nah joking, every game has their fair share of children, tards or idiots of the sort. For this game, moreso idiots than others, if I were to choose.

I don't mind kids/idiots in my games but this game has an overwhelming ammount of fricking kids and tards. It's hard just to find one person over the age of 13 ingame...

You know what annoys me more? It's the increase in the number of people who speaks in another language. I get annoyed at looking at the chatbox, only to see random languages I don't understand.

The reason there are so many
1) Kids
2) Twats
3) Non-English Speaking
4) Tards
5) Nubs

is beacuse the game is free.
EVERY free game has these guys.

If you want to get rid of them, you're gonna have to dish out some bills.

I'd say the cartoon-like graphics, the appeal of the cash shop, and the attraction a FREE game brings, but that's too obvious.

In my opinion, it's word of the GM events being spread around like wildfire in primary schools.

For every one kid that's interested in the game, another three will be convinced to play with him. It's the sad truth of any MMO. Place one idiot in a game and you get another 20 or so following him.

I think it's a "g" because in fiesta, the "j" get's cut off at the bottom too.

I think mmorpgs should be ages 15+ Then again, people do lie about their age online.

I know this game is for all ages, but if someone isn't mature or knowledgeable enough to figure out all of the information that is given, they shouldn't be playing it, or be allowed to (for the sake of those who are playing).
I've been in a party with someone who was 8. I have a nephew who is 8, and I can't even picture him playing an mmorpg. In my opinion, its dangerous and very irresponsible to allow a child onto something like this, there are also adults on here who may talk to the kid in adult ways, word filters don't matter.
Plus the younger they are, the more gullible they tend to be.

i speak spanish, can read backwards, decode pig latin, and ignore 1337 speak very well lol

yeah ive seen a few kids but none that are stupid enough to say how old they were in public chat. i guess its the average style for underage kids to fake it, i mean all of us probably did until we got to the point where it didnt matter.i guess thats y asian games use social security codes to play, i no ppl that steal those to tho lol

I think he meant like seeing the funny boxes and what not going on-screen? I must say though if you do speak another language feel free to but I think it would be better if you do so via whisper or party chat or whatever way so that it wouldn't show up in the 'public' chatbox.

I mean I speak Japanese so I play Japanese games too but I don't like seeing people blatantly speaking English in a foreign game. It should just be common courtesy. IMO.

To be honest, I really don't care if someone speaks other language ingame.

Well sure, it's ok if you speak another language in game aloud for a bit, but once when I standing around in Elderine, the chatbox was filled with those random characters non stop! I don't know, but there are other language versions of the game, isn't that the point of different versions? Just a personal preference, I guess.

I know a game (I think it was Seal Online) where if you spoke English in the Japanese version, you get banned (or so I heard).

Back on topic though, even though there are really stupid people in Fiesta, I am glad that people never asks for buffs (since there's not much buffs, not at my level anyway). I reckon there isn't that many compared to other games. FlyFF had a lot too from the last time I played. >_>"

Yeah, thats what I don't get. I wouldn't go onto one of the asian servers. I don't mind culture, but its just the conveniance for both parties, they cannot understand eachother.

it also doesn't make since sense this game is still in cb so wouldn't their version (i'm assuming already out of beta) have more features and stuff? when i did play the japanese version of a game (jflyff) it was because the english version was still in beta (and then beta ended) so the japanese version had more. not only that but the japanese community was better (and the only time i even spoke was when somebody spoke to me first or buffed me. eitehr to say "Thank you." or to tell them i don't know japanese so they wouldn't think i was ignoring them).

Yeah... That is why we have half naked women NPCs[Pey] and one quest where you cure some persons boyfriends hangover. Because you know... kids should play that stuff.

Its also very irresponsible. This game is obviously also open for adults. Thats like dangling your baby over a shark tank. They're just asking to be solicited by an adult.

And BTW, Pei is probably the only reason this game needs a rating. Aside from female player models...

The game is obviously though suited/aimed to the younger masses. THey were also extremely indiscriminate of who they let into the CB.

Okay, srsly talking, I'm a kid. Well, not under 12, but I'm purely a kid at heart D: I started playing MMOs when I was like.. what, 11? Rofl. And people would ask me how old I am, take a guess, and say 16. I think as long as they're not retarded and stupid, I wouldn't kill them. Actually, I don't even know what I'm rambling about 'cause it's 6am. wtf. I think kids should mature faster. Wtf?
