Dark Elves?
 

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering...

How come the Korean version and all the other versions of Fiesta, the mages, which are supposed to be dark elves, actually have the blue/purple skin, but they don't on our version?

The Dark elf NPC in Forest of Mist isnt a dark elf either, yet in Elderine the stone npc and the little boy npc are dark elves and have blue skin.

I don't really know why it's been changed, does anyone else?

I'm thinking it might be a future change or addition considering we're also lacking alot of hair/face options, but still, it's slightly odd to change their race entirely. Comments?

Maybe they just changed it in the English version. Personally, I'd rather mages not be dark elves. I reckon they look ugly. D:

Well actually they look exactly the same as they do now, just they have blue skin =P

Most of the gameplay videos online show them, they look pretty cool to be honest.

I think it was in the Japanese Fiesta or Bright Kingdom that they had the dark elves. But with their release of the Fiesta version, they got rid of the dark skin color on mages.

That completely sucks. I always wanted to play as a Dark Elf. T.T

Blue skin? I wouldn't personally find that attractive. Considering their attire consists mainly of purple, I'd say that's a pretty unattractive combination. Not to mention the lack of logic as to why the dark elves are mages, yet the archers are still human. Archers are the foundations of elven kin .__.

Anyway, could you get a picture of some sort we could all gawk at?

Archers are actually elves not human. They have pointy ears in our version. Yeah, I've seen some pics of dark elves and I reckon they look ugly. I'll see if I can fetch a screen.

I think Archers could be Elves also. Not Dark Elves though.


You should see some guy with purplish skin, and green hair.

Ickyyyy. I've seen the dark elves and they're just ew.
Archers seem like light elfs. o_O They have elf ears and are very short <3

There's a lot of things that are different from the Korean and Chinese version compared to the English version. My guess is that they want to test out new systems while simultaneously running the English Beta, so that if they discover anything that gets good feedback, then they can implement it into the other versions more smoothly.

Actually i think they just haven't opened the files. You see the mages are still Dark elves. They just dont have blue skin. They probally will change the skin colour in OB when they add more faces. What about the hair also. I want the cool blonde hair or green hair. That will probally come in OB. Right now just wait.

Yeah they are not blue because they havent added the celll shade graphic yet o-o i wonder why O_o

Well for cell shading question, its CLOSED BETA, Outspark only cares about finding ingame bugs atm.

Anyway has anyone else noticed that some of the artwork on the website and ingame of mages features them in white not blue? ( i think)
