LMAO. Yes, Lady-Loki is my mother. I am a grown woman with a child, lol, therefore I am a mother also. My child also has an account on Fiesta. But, I will not let him join in on the forums, as I do not always approve of some of the threads on here and on the official site. And when I say that, I mean I do not think it is appropriate for my child given his age. :) But, I am a really cool momma.... and so is Loki.

Lady-Loki 05-09-2008 02:15 PM

LOL at all of you! Yes, I have a 13 year old granddaughter and Spirit's son is my second grandchild and I have a 3 year old granddaughter.

And LOL coz you kids thought only kids play games and chat away in forums!

But . . . I do also have those momma/grand-momma things going on too. Mikey can tell you I have PM'd him and told him I know he is really a good kid at heart but this-or-that comes across giving a bad impression. And, I'm right in that he is really a good kid at heart coz he always responds back to me so politely about those PM too.

Sero 05-09-2008 02:20 PM

Cool!

-hits on both Lady and Spirit-

And yeah I understand why you won't allow your child to enter these forums Spirit, cause of one reason... Me and my potty mouth :p and to think of it, if he's 13 then I'm only 1 year older than him o_O

Spirit 05-09-2008 02:29 PM

Actually my son is 12. My niece is 13, my other niece is 3, :).
Also, if he ever did come to the forums, I would prolly not let anyone know that it was my son. Same as in game, lol. I think only 1 person has ever partied with my son that actually KNEW it was my son, even people in my guild do not know his in-game name. :)
Call me over-protective, but I try my best to protect him to the best of my ability. Also, I do not allow him to chat with anyone in-game unless I know about it and I know who they are.

Sero 05-09-2008 02:32 PM

Must be really nice to have you/Lady as a mother @_@

/envious

lol...

Over-protectiveness is normal. So he's younger than me by 2 years. ^^

At 12, I can see doing that because of some of the content.

At like 14+ it's time to let the kids see the world for themselves.

I hate sheltering parents.

AngelSliver 05-09-2008 03:09 PM

See?!?!?! 14 year old hitting on god knows what 30 and 40 plus year olds...

SHAME!!!

Yami 05-09-2008 03:12 PM

But extremely funny lol

Sero 05-09-2008 03:14 PM

I don't care what you say sis...

Lady+Spirit=PWN =D

Yami 05-09-2008 03:18 PM

Wasn't this about the mothers day exp boost? XD

Sero 05-09-2008 03:19 PM

Whatev... XD <3

booyah8876 05-09-2008 03:26 PM

We're still talking about mothers...

I <3 hawt mums.

Yami 05-09-2008 03:28 PM

Omg lmao!

Sero 05-09-2008 03:29 PM

YES booyah.

And Spirit tops my list.
Followed by Lady.
Next in line is Bla~ahs.

Yami 05-09-2008 03:31 PM

Blaaaaahs isn't a mom... right?

Spirit 05-09-2008 03:32 PM

LMAO, and yes, this thread is about the Mother's Day exp boost. So, I am going to move some of the posts in here, because I want to comment on some of them, but it is off-topic for this thread. And I actually think I will move them to General Discussion, because it can/should be a good discussion. So let's try and keep the spammy posts down, but we can still continue the discussion.

Sero 05-09-2008 03:32 PM

She isn't?? o_O

Weird... I fancy her too thou...

-replaces Bla~ahs for Hessah-

Yami 05-09-2008 03:38 PM

Another note for handling Sero: do not get him started about moms.

Sero 05-09-2008 03:41 PM

LOL! I'll add that to my siggy XD

Yes, at 12 he does not need to be exposed to what some people deem appropriate on this forum. Even at 13, I will still have a problem with some of the things he might see in here.
However, although I am protective, I am not naive and I know he needs/will be/has been exposed to certain things. I have already talked with him about a lot of the things he needs to know. But, letting him know about certain things and letting him be exposed to some of the conversations that take place here is two totally different things.

Sero 05-09-2008 03:46 PM

Yeah, more so if he sees MY posts... XD

Yami 05-09-2008 03:49 PM

I know I did things my parents wouldn't want me to do around that age. I was immensely curious about porn, so I tried to get around the internet security and find it lmao. Now I don't find it interesting at all anymore.

Spirit 05-09-2008 03:49 PM

Yes, some of your posts do make me raise my eyebrows. But, it is up to you and/or your parents to make that decision for you.
But, I can say as a mother, that I would be horrified if I came onto a forum and read some of your posts and realized it was my child that wrote it, lol.
But, at the same time, I remember being 14 and sitting in the gym discussing similiar things, lol. However, I never put them down in words so that someone had proof that I said it. So, when I make decisions about my child, I try to think back to when I was his age. I also realize that somethings are different for boys and girls.

Sero 05-09-2008 03:53 PM

-laugh-

Sorry Spirit!

I carry around with me a mind that has been corrupted for years.

AND

I represent the new generation  batch 1994 ^^

AngelSliver 05-09-2008 03:55 PM

Oh geez no...

>.<

There he goes again...

And to Spirit, our parents have no idea we're like this... Well, he's like that, but you get his sickness to if you live with him 24/7~

Sero 05-09-2008 03:58 PM

And you like it don't you sis?

This is the best thread EVAR!

Yami 05-09-2008 03:59 PM

>.>
<.<

Where did it go wrong with you? lol

Sero 05-09-2008 04:01 PM

Say what? LOL

It's everyday life in the Sliver compound. With tha Serodin runnin' up all dem beetchez~

Spirit 05-09-2008 04:04 PM

I think kids tend to act different when their parents are not around and can see how they act.
I also think that sometimes kids act a certain way to seem cool for thier friends, but that they are not really that way.

My opinion.
