Anyone else bawl like I did at the end?

I was seriously crying so hard T_T

I didn't cry, but yeah, its a pretty good movie. I don't like beginning though D: I couldn't look at the screen when he was beating up the dude that was about to break into his house.

Yeah I like the whole movie... it's just intense.

It was... so... epic.

Although the curb stomp was a little...

just to see the look in his brother's eyes while he did it.

I watched it like 15 times...

and when he was able to take a shower alone now he's out of jail...

then he sees the Swastika on his breast... and he can't change it...

was such a good film xD

One of my all-time favorite films. Powerful. The curb stomp scene was pretty wicked, but it was necessary to really drive home just how out of control he was at that point. I thought it was a good scene for that reason.

I think they chose the right actors for the movie.

It's an older movie ('98) so yeah, not really playing anywhere anymore. Could rent it though and I've seen it on one of the movie channels again recently, HBO or Starz I think.

Yeah, I think that's still probably Edward Norton's best movie. Well, maybe tied with Fight Club.

He totally got over the whole white supremacy... and then gets his brother out too!!

I used to feel bad for liking it lol.

What? Why?

Well, I don't now. But it was stupid, 3/4 of the movie is all racist and violence towards a certain race. Made me feel bad for liking the movie. But I don't care anymore, it shows that even the most seemingly lost and helpless person can change, and like the boy said at the end, life is too short to always be pissed off.

Yeah, but it's not like it was advocating their actions. The overall message was quite the opposite I think. I also just thought it was cool at the time because it openly addressed very serious issues that people didn't (and still don't) like to talk about.
