Lol, chargebacks.

Most chargebacks are done through PayPal. It's funny how PayPal still doesn't do anything really about clearly fraudulent chargebacks.

Rof 05-08-2008 09:35 PM

they are really really.....as in REALLY concern when it comes to SPARKCASH...

and why do they say theyre focusing on improving the game when all of their concern is about Sparkcash?

i just sigh....

oh well, just have fun still! lol!

*exits in a very mysterious manner*

I don't quite understand...

Some players were using PayPal chargeback to essentially get free items from the cash shop. They first buy the sparkcash using Paypal to purchase their cash shop items, then they used chargeback as way to get their money back.

MikeyG 05-08-2008 10:30 PM

gosh.. thanks ethel for putting it in an understandable way xD

Loveless 05-08-2008 11:32 PM

@Rof: Well of course they'd be concerned if they're losing money. Wouldn't you be?

Yosei 05-09-2008 01:06 AM

Any business would.

Hessah 05-09-2008 01:09 AM

I agree with Hessah, no one (not even the people actually doing this to outspark) would want this done to them. It is stealing period.

Asmodejjj 05-09-2008 02:30 AM

How can this possibly be abused? If the item was perishable and used up, they shouldn't get a refund, and if it was permanent, simply erase whatever it gave them.

Ivramire 05-09-2008 02:33 AM

Are you sure you understood the thread?

They charged sparkcash and got shop items without really paying for it. That's stealing. They could use Xp Boost cards or Blessing of Teva, Enhancement stones, all which would transfer their full benefit within the set period of time, benefitting from it but paying none of the cost.

That's abuse.

oOAnubisOo 05-09-2008 02:40 AM

People suck. Having worked in the virtual world, I would have banned them too.

Ulrike 05-09-2008 03:03 AM

wow. I had no idea this was even going on

Ralath 05-09-2008 03:08 AM

^Srsly.

Some days, I feel like there is a Fiesta Underground Club that shares things like glitches and hacks and bad activities like this one. Otherwise, how do people find these things out?????

Ivramire 05-09-2008 03:19 AM

^There's a forum for that :/

Ralath 05-09-2008 03:22 AM

^....

oh.

._.

EDIT: annd..... i just found it... >.>

Hyperswoss, you little nublet.

Ethelinde 05-09-2008 03:29 AM

Lolz I see him as well x)
Edit: On the side note, Outspark losing profit doesn't really matter that much to me, after all they are making a load with the price tags! What makes me angry is that I actually have to pay every single dime for my items. x)

Zwivix 05-10-2008 04:12 AM

Wow how can people be so dumb...."Oh ill get away with stealing"....you never do.

Not pinning any names but I wouldnt be surprised if enhancers were the one's doing this.

Good Outspark you fixed your money problems, now release and fix stuff for the gameplay.

...? If you mean \/, no one posts Fiesta-related stuff. Someone had tried fixing quests, but that was deleted. Other than that, nothing. Sheesh... If its that much of a problem I'll take it out.

Ralath 05-10-2008 04:38 PM

No. I was talking about the forum where Ghostly posted that release.

You don't have to do anything because of me. I don't care where you go or what you do.

I was just surprised to see you there.

Hyper 05-10-2008 05:15 PM

Yep. On the off chance that their email wasn't hidden, that could be the proof needed to ban said person. At least Sylvia got banned. But I never used any of the "hack" things and didn't plan to. Call me a rat.

Vasu 05-10-2008 05:31 PM

Sylvia was banned? Anyways..I can't believe something like this was going on...

05-12-2008 01:53 PM

how could they hack it like that???

Ralath 05-12-2008 05:55 PM

It's not a hack per se.

It's a commercial transaction.

It's like you going into the store, charging your credit card, getting the item, and then calling your credit card company to tell them that your card was stolen and someone else had used it to charge the card, so then the credit company cancels the charge and you're still left with the item.
