How should my macros go?
|
yup.
you can easily use Heal and Bash with that setup, the only skills youll be spamming. You'll need to rearrange stuff when you get more skills though. |
Sure 0__0
It's presonal preference really... But it is best to have Heal, Bash, and Invincible at the quickest access. |
looks good! you have easy access to the skills you use most...
did you know you can drag ur bar to make it longer at the end? (if your screen allows you to fit more...) just thought you might need it when you get more buffs later on... (the extra boxes doesnt have a shortcut key, but i put my buffs there which only get used once an hr...) |
How about my skill empower point use? I put all of sp usage and cooldown time on Heal.
|
work on Bash now.
Points into full power and optionally into Sp consumption. |
cool down heal and bash

That's mine at lvl 68. The only thing I wish I can go back to change is to NOT put 5 points into revive cooldown... I dunno wtf I was thinking. |

-i would also suggest is using atleast one more bar later, that way u only have to push [shift]+2 instead of moving the hand all the way until 7 for example. -also move the important ones more together. (having invincible at 6 will take it too long to cast, because u have to move your hand first) Put your non dominant hand relaxed on the keyboard. The key u can reach best is the center. From there allign the skills based on times of uses and how time critical they are. -There is no need have any shortcut for the buffs, put them on your tools/etc bar. |

I also increased the duration of Invincible... I regret putting points in SP consumption of bash.. coz i'm now short of points for Recover (party heal) at lvl 60... its my next most used heal skill and i had to put 5 points in cool down, and have ran out of points to put it in SP consumption... |

http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/9...5e87e67f20.jpg bar when I was level 65. Healing set-up, only difference beteen this and normal set-up is that I put Bash in 2 and Trip in 5. |
Why did you put cooldown in rejuv and recover?
|
Cooldown in reju is good, since it has 10 sec CD, and it becomes your primary single-target heal level 65+

My single-target heal even lvl 68 is still Heal[10]. When I clank AoE, I run, heal, run, heal, run, heal, recover, rejuv, heal, restore, heal and then just heal or whatever until the mob is dead. The only time I really use rejuv is when people are taking loads of damage, but I never let their health drop that low in the first place. Quicken + Invince[07] ftw. |
It was something that I thought to do in my early 60's, trying to take as much aggro as possible by trying to have the most spells take effect at roughly the same time. Clerics can take aggro slowly but surely and keep it, if the DD isn't using +9s but you can take aggro faster if you cancel animations and heal-bomb a single-target. Having a 2200-ish Rejuvenate resolve in quick succession to Heal 10 and Recover pulls a hella lot of agro.
The extra points were just sitting around and I'm perfectly willing to get a reset if I'm so inclined later. It's still useful though. |
You should generally customize your button spread so that your most frequently used skills are nearest to WASD, even if you use your mouse to move, as the "base" position of your hands on your keyboard is on the ASDFJKL; keys.
For example, I have: 1 = Item Pickup 2 = Bash 3 = Heal 4 = Rejuvenate 5 = Trip 6 = Recover As those 5 skills and that action are most common for me, I have them closest together to make it easier to access those skills. |
Save 5 points for Cooldown on Quicken.
4 min cooldown is the WORST. I only have 3 points in there but it's got -36 secs. I can't wait until 5 points in there. |
I used to have full Quicken Cd-enpower.
Removed it because I wasn't using it all that much. Go with what works for you I guess. |
Quicken isn't used that often, really...Only in cases of emergency, I think.
Even Chain Casting isn't used that much once you get Inferno. It's only really useful for chaining Fear on annoying clerics... |
I never use the auto-attack feature...I just double pick, its a bit easier for me.

there isn't much we can do. Heal is the only fast heal spell. Rejuvenate cant replace it no matter how much it heals. Because even with cb maxed out it takes 7sec to recharge, that 3,5times more then heal.
Recover is nice when 3-5 persons are attacked, or u want to heal the dd's up in one go, but it just cant replace heal too. After all it takes about 20sec's maxed out. Invincible is just useless as a heal replacement, too. 1 target; long recharge. Right now there is no skill that can replace heal. So we must live with the weak heal we have. |
Sad but true I guess...
