A_Forever 05-02-2008 08:51 PM

College does not = legal.

A_Forever 05-02-2008 10:03 PM

If his mom thinks he's responsible enough to not go crazy and stuff...then I see no problem with it @_@

legal age here is 21.
yes she does think that and i'd have to agree
i started feeling something after 6 but then D gave me another and i drank it anyways
feels weird, kinda liek i'm extremely tired like after the 36 hour sgrind on flyff

so yea, at 7, stopping there.

and yes i am too lazy, drunk and sober, to qute all of you.

and that was close to the reacton i was expecting. she basically just told me that it's better to experience things etc.

booyah8876 05-03-2008 12:56 PM

Lol my mother would never let me >.>;

she would be more like...

"Noes. This is what's going to happen... and even if it sounds extremely fun... still doesn't matter. Don't try anything, because it's going to happen how I say it."

Could go into a long debate on this one, but it is not worth it. Yes underage kids drink, I did. That wasn't the point though. Oh and ask the mother that was arrested and sent to prison for allowing her underage child to drink at home, if she still feels that way.

The trick is to find the right number that makes you feel good and stop there. I find it better to drink a beer, drink a coke, drink a beer, drink a coke, when I go out. It helps space them out, you keep the buzz, and you do not get so tore up that you have a hangover the next day.

i love coke <3

and i'm not sure how spaced out it was. however it took somewhere between 5 and 6 before i felt anything. though i'm not sure if i should count the first one because it was 2+ hours before the second one. and then i'm still not sure on that count because directly after the 5th i finished off my friend's and i'm not sure how much was in there but it couldn't have been much. anyways, including the first one i stopped at 8 though it was wearing off before i had the last one.

My oldest brother has had a few beers while playing 360 @_@ But he's like a year n' a half away from being legal LOL My dad has sat down and drank with him too. But its not like my brother has gotten wasted. At most he'll have 2 beers and he's done. Then goes to bed. He doesn't do stupid crap like some people :x

My brother drinks like once a month. Tops.

Destrus 05-03-2008 06:28 PM

heh, yea, i'm not one for doing stupid crap either and most of the guys here seem well controlled when drunk. for me, even though i could feel the effects of it i didn't have so much that my behavior really changed i think. there might have been a subtle change like i may have talked a bit more and may have been a bit louder than usual (i normally rarely talk and when i do talk i'm not very loud at all). other than that i could still think clearly and apparently tom couldn't see any difference in me. the only one that really noticed right away just by looking at me was steve :<

Spirit 05-03-2008 07:41 PM

It is not always how you act after 1 or 2. It is your reaction time. They have done studies where you take a reaction test, have 1 beer, then take it again, repeat process. Even after just 1 beer, their reaction time was less than before. After 2 beers it was even lower and so on and so on. So, it is not always how it makes you act, but how it makes you react.
Don't get me wrong, I am not one of these DO NOT drink people. I drink, course I can legally do so. But, I have seen and heard of too many young people dying from not knowing when enough is enough. My 16 year old attened a funeral not to long ago for one of his friends who was only 17, that was killed due to drinking and driving. Everyone at the party said that he did not look or act like he had had to many beers.

Destrus 05-03-2008 08:27 PM

oh yea, i wasn't worried about reaction time at the time since i'm not driving or anything (and would never drive even after one, it's just not worth it). but as far as reaction time goes i guess there was a bit of a difference. i can only tell a bit because we were playing wii sports and then guitar hero 3. i'm not sure how to measure with wii sports since i don't play it much but i did notice that with bowling i started twisting my wrist again >_<.

as far as guitar hero i could definately notice a slight difference. it wasn't so much that i started failing songs i could always pass but i definately wasn't beating any of my high scores. then again i wasn't too far off from some of my scores either. also, after it started wearing off i actually beat a song i hadn't been able to beat before, One on expert.

also, one of my friends says i said something about a quail while we were bowling but i don't remember saying it and i remember /everything/ from last night. heck, i didn't even remmeber saying it half an hour after apparently saying it. i do however remember thinking about a quail, i don't remember why i was thinking about it, but i don't remember thinking about it.

Loveless 05-03-2008 09:00 PM

That's the sort of response my mom gave me. But then again I do not like drinking... I thought it was gross when I was 10 taking a sip of my mom's wine. Still think the same 11 years later. I'd just sort of smell the wine and be like "ewwwww".

I remember her saying... "Pfft, I was drinking during high school already..." This is in Japan and their drinking is like... very casual. As long as you don't look like you're in junior high they'll serve it to ya. :P

My sister on the other hand... yeh.

Destrus 05-03-2008 09:11 PM

i think the first thing i ever tasted was a mamosa. don't know the spelling. it's i think champagne and orange juice.

Belaslav 05-03-2008 09:41 PM

Never heard about that mix before... Was it good?

Rightclaw 05-03-2008 11:37 PM

The only thing I can stand is Arbor Mist and wine coolers. -.-

Belaslav 05-04-2008 03:14 AM

Huh.. Cool, I will try that someday.
