In your opinion what is the best the weapon for a Warrior/Fighter?

1 Hander

2 Hander
or
Axe

well, the sexiest one is the two hander :D

1h+shield is good for tanking, more aim and def, less dmg.

axe is strongest, most dmg, most crit, less aim.

2h is... err... in between, which leads it to sucking... but it looks best among the 3

I don't like any of the 2H swords currently in this version other than the Zweihander, Claymore and the level 70 blue. Maybe the Flamberge.

well i first use 2hs but when become 43lvl i tryed 1h and shield and i was like "this is awesome lol"
so i like more 1hs than 2hs :D

i love 1h, especially with extra critical damage.

1 Handed Swords give you the benefit of a shield which is equal to more than that of a piece of chest armour, as well as increased aim and a fast attack rate.

Axes give you the benefit of the highest physical damage-dealing weapon in the game, at the cost of lower aim, lower attack rate, increased critical rate.

Two handed swords give neither a comparable amount of damage that the axes give, nor, the defense that a 1 handed sword gives. In this case Two handed swords completely suck. They do have flashey looks, but thats all they have.


My preference is an axe. Most of the times fighters just skill spam anyways. Skills have the same cooldown and usage on all 3 weapons. Literally, when skill spamming, an axe, 1 handed sword, and 2 handed sword attack at the same rate.

However, an axe deals considerably more damage than its competition.

The 1h is best for tanking and getting that extra bit of defence
The axe is best in terms of raw damage
The 2h is best for going AFK in Elderine :P

I would say a one handler, simply because you can have a sheild at the same time. XD

If you're going for quick kills, try an axe though. :D

1h sword with shield... shield have block rate that other haven't, it gives more def and, if you find a green shield, you can also have some more stats!

Well, my 25 fighter (lmao, i know XD) is using the axe...and it seems pretty good. I have a spare 1h sword for emergencies though. The only reason I use the axe is because I love the lvl40 axe :D

Actually you can still do good with a 2h. I use a ZK one so that's more dmg than normal or green one. It has END to keep me from dying, and I tank fine with it, tanked ZK, SK, haven't tried Robo yet XD. No need to worry about STR as long as you have em in your gear or free stat.

I'm new to Fiesta Fan but I know alot about fiesta...
 

I know for sure that low lvls say "axe pwns u nub!" but once your high lvl your gonna be sorry if u chose axe and full str =D! 1Handers-as someone said more stats and bock rate, but also, u get tank in aoe, once you get the aoe for figthers you can aoe by yourself you ahve so much def. SO FULL END 1HANDER FIGHTER!

I just started my fighter, but have been pretty perceptive about the game.

Right now I am level 2X and love tanking. Since I was before a cleric the damage of the 1 handed weapon is still greater than the clerics so I'm just used to it. Plus getting a +7 1 handed weapon is comparable to an axe.

Now, when I get to higher levels and need to PVP, the axe is the way to go. Like previously mentioned skills go the same speed no matter what weapon type you choose.

So in the end my honest opinion would be carry two(I can only say that because I never had difficulties with money). One for tanking and one for damage dealing.

^ good idea. That's what I do on my Teva fighter, every level I have all 3 kinds of weapons [except 50 and 60]. In Robo KQ I use Axe which is full damage, when the Dark Skeleton Knights come out I use my Zwei, which has END but still kicks @$$. If I run [which happens always even if I'm just level 40 >_> lol] I use my +5 shield with 16 END and 1h GGK Cutlass with 19 STR 16 END 15 SPR. The whole thing gets easier with stones, but when I merge 3 trains without a cleric I may end up dead X_X anyways yeah, good idea. Works well if you're rich though, which is why I'm concerned about my Epith Fighter DX

I like the axe the best, it does the most damage and is especially useful for pvp:laugh:

Axes are.

Fighters already have tons of def, especially with +9 armor. Really the only place you have to have a shield is in Helga's Tomb.

Axes do so much DPS, taunting is sometimes not even neccessary. And in my expirience you lose more HP using a +9 1h and +9 shield than +9 axes, because of the kill speed when using skills.

That completely depends on the situation. When I tank robo or am in an aoe party, it's a 1h no question. When I am just soloing or killing lower level things it's the axe. I would have never tanked a trumpie with an axe(Only got one xp! LAME), would have been instantly killed. Not one weapon is better in all situations. <-- Period.

I agree But im pute 1 handed al the way I took on a harkan at lvl 38 Becuase of the sheild And sword Now im lvl 40 i can take king Coll's But i Agree non-the less

QFT. Using SnS, my level 45 fighter can have almost as much defense my level 67 archer has >_> [who can solo at CP2] so yeah, having noticed that I know my fighter can solo at CP2. Only problem is getting there XD

And are you level 41? Get to level 42 and you'll start obtaining exp from Blue Trumps.
