So, I'm new to this game.

Kingdom quest - I wanna know EVERYTHING you need to know about it! How to find partys, is it worth it and all that.

I want to know about the fastest way to level - questing, not questing or other ways.

Then, riding skills and that, also how to get axes? (I can only find swords in shops).

Thanks.

The best place to find information is here, http://www.fiestafan.com/wiki. But, if you have a specific question, you can ask it in Questions and Inquiries, and people can help out.

And yes, for the most part KQs are worth it. Just join and you will find a party.
The Axe is for after you do your level 20 job change.
The riding skill can be purchased from Ruby in Roumen. You will also have to buy the horse and food from Merchant Pey in Roumen.
The best way to level when you first start out is to complete all your quests.

EDIT: Also, you can introduce yourself to everyone here by going to the Newbie Zone and posting a Welcome thread. :)

First off, Welcome to FF and welcome to Fiesta

Kingdom Quests - A bunch of players like you get together and try to achieve a certain goal. Each class has it's own duty in the Quest.

Fighters: They get a skill called Snearing Kick, and later on, a skill called Mock, both which divert the monster(s)'s attention to the one it's used by. Since fighters are the ones with the highest HP and defence, they can take the beating that these monsters dish out. The fighter's duty is to make sure the more fragile mages and archers aren't hit by the monsters.
Clerics: Heal. The cleric's duty is to heal the fighters who are diligently taking hits from the monsters, as well as anyone else who is injured. As their damage is minimal, they are best off doing this.
Archers: Shoot. Pretty simple isn't it?
Mages: Attack, holding nothing back. Also simple :).

Parties are pretty much essential in Kingdom Quests for 2 reasons:
1. Getting the kills you need for quests.
2. The oh-so helpful party buffs that clerics have, whose effectiveness increases with the increase in number of party members.

Parties outside of KQs are pretty much your choice. It depends on your style of play. Like soloing? Don't party. Very social? Go ahead and party. If you have a good party in which each member knows what to do, it'll get you a lot more exp than you can dream of on your own.

Fastest ways of leveling:

In my opinion, finish all your quests first(whether you do this party or solo is up to you), then find a nice party with which you can go to higher lvled areas and get more exp, to easily get the remaining exp.

Both, the riding skill and the Mining skill are oddly placed..both are under the "Alchemy" tab with Skill Master Ruby, or any other skill master.

You can only use axes from lvl 20 onwards. Till then it's only 1 handed swords. At level 20, you'll have the option of continuing with the 1 handed sword, or choosing 2 handed sword, or the axe (all of them have their pros and cons).

Another note on riding skills: Make sure you buy floatation stones from the Item Merchant and also the mover.

whew...

+rep pls :3

What is the name of the food btw?
Just useful to know. :)

EDIT: vasu619 said it. He said all I need to know so there is no need of this thread. Also thanks for the welcomes. ^_^

+rep also, becouse it helped me ALOT.

Floatation Stones. :)

Ooh and never feed your horse past 1000, it is a waste of stones. Also, the food feeds in increments of 100. So if you feed him up to 915 (just an example), wait until he goes lower than 900 to feed him again.

Does KQ somehow give EXP? Does it give better exp than soloing and questing?
Just a good thing to know. :) :P

Vasu 05-01-2008 03:57 PM

KQs give a lot of exp at the ending, if they're successful. It may or may not be more than soloing/questing depending on the KQs max lvl and your lvl. You get exp during the KQ too.

Davorix 05-01-2008 03:59 PM

So KQ depends all on your partners (and of course, yourself) - if I have a bad partner, I'll probably fail and don't earn any EXP worth it.

Vasu 05-01-2008 04:00 PM

A bad party doesn't necessarily mean the failure of the KQ, if the other parties are doing fine.

Davorix 05-01-2008 04:03 PM

How hard is KQ then? Does KQ award you with some items and money? Can you do KQ anytime?

Vasu 05-01-2008 04:06 PM

The difficulty of a KQ depends on the KQ itself. Judging by the questions you're asking, you must be at the King Slime KQ. It's pretty easy. Click here for the details.

And apart from the rewards mentioned there, you can get an enhanced lvl 15 weapon from between +2 to +6 of your class.

Davorix 05-01-2008 04:10 PM

Thanks alot! But still, can I do KQ anytime?

After that, how can I find a party to KQ with?

Vasu 05-01-2008 04:20 PM

KQs are available at specific times (I think every hour and a half). When you click on the KQ menu, you'll see a list like

Title Participants Recruit Time Status
King Slime's counter-attack[A] 0 23.32~23.42 On Schedule
King Slime's counter-attack[B] 15 23.28~23.30 In Progress
King Slime's counter-attack[C] 6 23.30~23.32 Recruiting

This is just an example, usually A comes before B etc. etc. You can only join a KQ that says "Recruiting" on the status. Below this list, there's a small blue box that tells you what time it is now. Usually, KQs fill up as soon as the status goes from "On Schedule" to "Recruiting", so stoppping everything you do atleast 1 min before the first time shown on the Recruit Time column(the one before the ~) and getting ready to click "Participate" at the bottom-left is a good idea. As soon as the present time becomes that time, the status will change from "On Schedule" to "Recruiting". Click immediately. It takes a while to get the hang of it.

Parties are usually formed after the KQ starts(you will automatically be teleported to the KQ map). But, you can look at other participants in the Participant List(which appears once you select a KQ that is recruiting) and ask them if they want to party beforehand.

Did I miss anything?

P.S. Sorry for the bad tables..to have a look at it yourself, once you're lvl 5, click on the small hourglass near your minimap at the top-right corner.

Davorix 05-01-2008 04:26 PM

THANKS THANKS THAAAAAANKS REALLY MUCH.

This is probably all I need to know. Once again, thanks! Now when I know everything about KQ, I'll level to 20 and do it. Thanks, once again!

Vasu 05-01-2008 04:28 PM

Hey hey slow down..you can do a KQ right from lvl 5.

Davorix 05-01-2008 04:30 PM

Well, I know I can, but I'm not sure yet if I should do it early. If I get to 20 I'll get axes and then I'll kill faster (becouse of my build). But the sword makes me wanna do it. :3

Vasu 05-01-2008 04:34 PM

There are different KQs for different levels

5-16 King Slimes Counter attack

17-25 Mara Pirate's Rage

20-32 Gold Hill Adventure

33-45 Millenium Robo Plot

40-50 Mean Giant Honeying

46-60 Lost Mini Dragon

60-70 Spider's Assault

71-79 King Kong Phino

Here is the total list and descriptions and strategies and whatever.

Davorix 05-01-2008 04:36 PM

Thanks. I guess that is all I need to know. o:
I'm going back to play now~

Vasu 05-01-2008 04:37 PM
