Raise up your hands, you procrastinators!

While I'm making this thread, I'm currently finishing some work I'm supposed to pass up today and I should have done it yesterday instead of going for 2 KQs.

So, details about procrastination and how you suffered/enjoyed your life because of it etc. go in here.

Been putting off every single bit of work this semester. Oh well, as of now, I'm almost done with the last project.

When I try to find the meaning of life, I find procrastination.

What's the point of life if you can't do what you want now and then?

Ash 08-07-2007 02:42 AM

Odio: I'd say the same thing, but I find that procrastination tends to cut into my free time. There was this time that I didn't get to go to my favorite bookstore because I didn't finish my work.

I'm Asian.

I do my work in half the time my class does it, and I then I enjoy myself.

Curse you Bela. I KNEW someone would say that sooner or later.

Lol, then why didn't you say it before me?

I've been meaning to post in this thread for a while now, but I kept putting it off. :p

Anyway, In highschool most of my teachers had the daily homework up on the board each day and I would either do it during class or not at all. I didn't do school work at home unless it was a big project. For those, I'd usually put it off for a while but not until the last minute. Whenever I did actually do it though, I would do it all at once. I would rather do a lot of work all at one time than a little spread out over a longer time; just do it and get it over with.

In general, I didn't take school very seriously. It was pretty easy for me so I used to skip a lot to go have fun and I'd barely do just enough to keep from failing. I'd usually study on my own for finals though and I'd pretty much ace them. It used to irritate my friends that I could blow school off all the time and still score better than them in the end.

What little college I got I took much more seriously though and I actually did all my work on time all the time.

As far as the working world, well can't really put too much off without getting fired so, yeah.
