NEW EVENT: Team PVP

Introduction
Greetings one and all, we have a brand new event for players to enjoy. TEAM PVP TOURNAMENT!!! This will be the first time we have ever done an event like this. As such in order to test the viability of this event in game we will do a trial run with the players. During the last week of April each server will be scheduled to host the event. Each server will also have the event run in different ways to see which method is most efficient, fair, and fun.

How To Win
All teams will need to be pre registered in order to participate. All registered teams log on at the scheduled time and wait for contact from the GM. The battles will take place in one of the pvp zones which will be emptied and locked prior to the event. The method of the battle will be on a server to server basis. Please check the individual server Event Announcement pages for details.

We will be accepting ONLY the first 8 teams to correctly submit the registration information. The competiton will start at 3:00 PM (PDT). Two other teams will be selected as alternates in the event a Team is unable to make it.

Registration Process:
Simply reply to this thread in order to register. Each team MUST submit the following information and meet ALL the requirements in order to participate in this event.
1. ALL team members must be between levels 60-69

2. All teams must have at least FIVE players on their roster

3. All teams are allowed two alternates in the event of a player being unable to be on at the correct time

4. Be one of the first 8 teams to reply with their registration information

Registration MUST have the following format
1. Server
2. Team Name
3. Team Captain
4. Team member names (include and mark alternates)

Failure to submit the information in the correct format will result in your team not being allowed to participate.

Event Rules and Details:
Teva server will host a single elimination tournament in the 60-69 pvp zone. The teams will be notified then summoned into the zone, where they will compete in team vs. team match ups. If a team loses once they are out of the competition.

Kinda retarded @ Epith... Pretty much only the people who play 24/7 are 60-69.

4 mages + 1 cleric + AoE heals = not much of a fight.

AOE Heal has at least a 21sec cool down.. if all 4 mages can hold out for 21 sec.. then.... anyway...

if the other team has 2 fighters... Dev.. Dev.... all mages are dead XD

I think that since they said that this was a trial and error event they only wanted to start with one group level and see how it works out to get a better feel of how the real thing should go. I think that it is nice that they are using us to help them test things out and geather feedback on how to make it a better event before setting it up for all the levels.
Yeah, we might not be able to do it this time, but when they do have it for all the levels, maybe it will be even better than for those that tested it out.

Sounds kindda fun. Can't wait to see the results. But with the classes still kindda unbalanced it wont be much fun for some classes.

either way i wish we could watch and heckle :D

I would hope that they make the level range lower for Epith. O_o
Otherwise there'd probably be one team with no one else to go against. xD

is this level 60-69 things just for the trial run?!

since they're always about "focusing on majority".... 60-69 is definitely not the majority...

though, they'll be the more experienced players in the game... compare to level 30-40 (generally)

I'm thinking they chose the 60-69 level group because they tend to be more mature players and won't go whispering or shouting at a GM asking how the event is going to work. Also, because they supposedly have a fair good amount of experience with their class.

I doubt Epith has enough 6x People to join D:
