Is there going to be a glossary?

Man, I don't want to sound like a noob, but what is aoe?

Area of Effect?
Age of Empires?

There are more I can't think of, so can you tell me, is there a glossary?

Hessah 04-08-2008 12:04 AM

Area of Effect - you are correct...

EDIT: still that affects an area...

i dont think we've got a glossary here in FiestaFan...

Maybe we can start thinking about putting one up together...

I think there might be a glossary on the Official Forum

Basically, its skills where you can attack multiple mobs at once.

Yosei - this might be something we could add to the Wiki. I had problems learning all the terms when I first started. :)

AoE = Area of Effect
DoT = Damage Over Time.
FN = Frost Nova (level 60 mage AoE skill)
NP = Natures Protection (archer skill)
HP = Health Points
SP = Spirit Points
TK = Torturer King (boss monster)

Map names (in no particular order)
FoM = Forest of Mist
FoS = Forest of Slumber
BoD = Bondage of Darkness (dungeon)
GotD = Graveyard of the Dead (dungeon)
DotA = Dungeon of the Abyss (dungeon)
LS = Luminous Stone (dungeon)
CP = Collapsed Prison (or Concealed Peak - a dungeon)
MT = Moonlight Tomb
SoG = Sea of Greed

There's heaps more but my brain is stuck...

Yes please add a glossary to the wiki.

What's BK? No I'm not talking Burger King.

Here, they talk about it here:

And in this quote...

Booyah says it's Japanese Fiesta.

So, BK stands for the Japanese version of Fiesta, then what does the BK stand for?

Ivramire 04-09-2008 09:14 PM

Bright Kingdom=BK

Spirit 04-09-2008 09:14 PM

umm not to be a nit-pick or w/e it is lol, you dont have to do dmg to effect an area ^^, as in you can do dmg down to mobs, or def down in certain games so yeah........aoe isnt just dmg like most ppl think

Hessah 04-09-2008 11:42 PM

Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Xd

kirbysprite 04-10-2008 02:11 AM

Okay, okay, okay. Once is enough. I know BK is Bright Kingdom.

Lady-Loki 04-20-2008 02:13 PM

Not wiki'd yet. Maybe I will try to get it added soon. (OMG, could that have been less committed?)

downwiffpearcy 04-20-2008 02:18 PM

It could have, but the important thing to remember is that no one likes unfulfilled promises so... Go ahead and make the glossary! I, for one, am confused by all the two or three letter terms to describe various builds. Like DD, I think of Dungeons and Dragons there, not Fiesta... o.O

Lady-Loki 04-20-2008 03:33 PM

Actually, there is already something kinda sorta maybe close but not exactly already in there - these specific abbreviations are just not there and the word "Glossary" is not there:

Main Page - General Tips

Edit: added it
