I think it's bit dark, you could try other colors
like gray with blue, good color combination
or you can stay with black and change green to red, black with red is also a good color combination

The only thing that bothers me is the font. Try using pixel fonts or sans-serif? I think it'll look nice with your site.

Nice, but one question: Why does it display $ for null? Is it default setting?

yeah you could try other colours that is not too heavy or dark.
