Kids These Days
 

So the kids are on Spring Break. So that means I have all 4 of them today.

As an attempt to get them out of my hair, and to get them some D.. I told them to go play in the backyard for an hour. Its a slightly sunny day, enough to warm the skin, but still cool, all you need is a sweater or a light coat. Can't be that bad right? They're kids..

10 minutes later they are bugging me to come back inside. To do what? Watch cartoons and play video games.

I told them to just hang out outside for an hour. But sheesh, they're acting like I'm torturing them. One of them was laying at the back door screaming and crying. They've spent about 6 months inside constantly, and on their first "outing" they don't last 10 minutes.

My brother used to lock me outside the house in the middle of summer in Texas for half the day, and I was fine with that.

Lol, maybe their vampires and they cant stand the sun...

lol try being outside in the middle of August in Louisiana you'll be like those kids : D.

I lived in Southern Texas most of my childhood <.<

I wish to go back outside and be with people... my mother tells me no friends =/

i see it as this : if you tell them as a parent to go and do something, then becuase it wasnt their idea, they wont want to do it. if going outside was their idea and you said that they couldnt, then they would then complain about being inside lol. anyone agree with me on this?

Yeah, but they probably wouldn't volunteer to go outside. These kids have gaine their wintery paleness and they need to get some D!

Detain the kids, put food high in a jungle gym/tree, and release them?

Two words: Military camp.

give them some easter eggs and tell them do do a chocolate hunt outside....? XD

she's not really that much younger to be babysitted by me....

Haha. My friend is only two years older than his brother and he's babysatted his brother. But like when he was 13 and his brother was 11 or something like that.

Or like 16 and 14 because he could drive and his brother couldn't.

well like kids these days wot really go o t side the dont do anything
or then sit in side watch tv and play games lol its just wut they do now
best thing to do make them have a tim to watch tv or play games then
like they wil get bored and wanna go out side lol :D

Well... i once saw these pair of shoes that links with the tv o.O.
These type of shoes have some kind of battery installed in them
and those same batteries are used to operate the Tv, so basically,
if the kids want more tv/video gaming time then they would have to
jog outside for atleast an hour or so for a 30 minute ty experience XD.

*my memory is a little hazy regarding this but pretty much close^^

simple, put the game consoles and computer away or destroy them. so they can be less dorky and become more athletic

am i the weird one in the world? My old bro and I are super athletic o.o..we are addicted to sports and barely plays nonstop for computer games
