That you did as a newbie to Fiesta.

I'd say it was back on my first character. As a level 3 fighter, I found a sand hill scroll of one of the slimes. CEWLIES I said as I doubleclicked to my DOOOOOOM


Luckily, there was a person there, and he had a spare roumen scroll. TY RANDOM STRANGER.

I know its not that bad, but Thats the worst I've done as a newbie so far :) What about you? :p

err.... maybe try getting boogies in Sea of Greed, but we didnt know there's a templer in roumen that takes us to SoG.... we risked ourselves through the lizardman and procks in FoM, through to Elderine... then out onto the Phinos in SoG, got pwned and was lost... LOL!

Making a full INT fighter in CB1, because I thought he was stupid.

I was the worst of all noobs! It had been years since I played an MMO and I was too stubborn to use the guide, so excuse my noobiness.

1. When I first started.. I couldn't figure out how to run. I assumed the arrows on the keyboard were to run.
2. I attacked slimes with my staff.
3. I got stuck in my house, I couldn't figure out how to get out.
4. I got stuck on walk once. Didn't know that z changed it.

But I learned quick! None of these lasted long. I had my at-the-time boyfriend helping me.

LOL lucky I had kt to help me when i 1st started... i was asking her "how do i type" and all that...

and maybe bragging to my sister and her frds about getting a +6 lvl 15 mace from King Slime LOL

now i realise almost everyone gets one kekeke

I also got stuck on walk, and I was shouting, "How do I recharge my running?". :D I got stuck in my house, also. xD

I couldn't find "the gate to SoG".

I got stuck in Elderine by dying in SoG.


OHHHH!! I have the most epic...

I couldn't figure out how to talk. ANDDD, when I finally got he box open, I didn't know how to close it! XD

ha, I was a badddd noob. I made a full Dex fighter.

and at about level 10 when I got my first skill...I though I was so cool going around doing slice and dice, then I came to find out that it used up your spirit so when all of my spirit was gone I was going around to clerics asking if they could "heal my spirit"? LOL...and they were like " umm...noob?"

But, I've seen people sell an Elderine Necklace for 1s.

I almost thought about making a Full dex when I first started playing Fiesta lol. In other RPG's it sounds good to already have decent armor, always hit your target, and have high evasion, but I suppose it doesn't work like that lol.

Yea I did the boogie thing too. I was like "Psh turtles are slow and weak im sure I could take em." AFter that I started following the signs with the level rage and started to freak out when I didnt see em anymore lol.

Lol I love all of these. It's fun to know and it will help me not make the same mistakes :D Keep em coming!

*edit* Also there is a sense of satisfaction once you destroy a monster which you previously died from a lot ^_^

The other day, lvramire and I were doing a quest. We had to get naiad souls and ancient elf souls. We ran through CP1 looking for the ancient elf souls, and we couldn't find them, so we went and did naiad souls. Ancient elf souls were the items they dropped ^^;;

One of the worst things i did as a newbie was firstly to make an INT cleric. (i blame my fren for telling me that)

another worst things is not figuring out how to learn skills until about lv 5 or 6,but i remade my character shortly after that.

I'm still a noob. And I do a bunch of nooby things:

1) Sold like 300 of each type of low-level dust to the store for the pitiful price they give you, despite me having Stone production and I could've used 'em...
2) Broke my hammer with enhancement without having the money to replace it, by "Item being destroyed" I thought it was referring to the Elrue/Lix/Xir. I was wrong.
3) Didn't learn my lesson, and went on to buy another hammer only to break it again trying to upgrade it past +6.
4) Bought ANOTHER Hammer, convinced that enhancement only breaks items if I'm trying do more than +6, I broke it trying to get +5.

I've spent roughly 50 silver on Hammers in the past two days, just trying to get back my original +6 Enhanced hammer, I'm now terrified to do any enhancement and am stuck with a +2 Hammer, and the only reason it's +2 is because it was enhanced when I bought it. :[

My first cleric in cb1 was full int until I found out it did nothing at about level 10.

@Hess you probably didn't know there were boogies in FoM back then.

Yea Im petrified to enhance weapons past +3 anymore. And for my fighter since hes 21, the weapons are too expensive so I NEVER enhance anymore lol.

I've broken 3 lvl60 hammers on the first enhance.

+1 isn't safe either.

My enhancing streak is 14 successful enhancements in a row. =]

really...I kinda miss pre-CS when everyone ''hanced and prayed" that the stupid NPC's didn't smash their stuff. Having even a +5 was a big deal back then.

I also miss those days. It even annoys me.

I mean, wtf. +9ing all your armor? Yeah, like I really want to PvP you when you have three times your normal defense and double damage.

Enhancing armour/shield without perfects... be prepared to lose them before your get to +2!!

on the other hand.... weapons are a lot easier to enhance to at least +3

but then after that it kept going +4, +3, nothing +2, +3, nothing, +4.... waste a lot of stones going no where but my weapon didnt break

Eh, If I had money to be dumping RL cash on Weapons, I probably would. Alas, at the current moment I have other things to pay for. :(

funny thing is, these people are usually the PvP giants who random-kill everyone on the map. People like @%@%^ who tell you to get +9s or level to 79, or ask everyone in the map to gang on them because they're "leet."

haha, mines kinda like that. i met some dude around lev 20 and i was like...6-8 or so.....an i was hearin how cool everything is in elderline and how much roumen sux capared to it, so i wanted to visit. and i found that 20 escort, who had to go after i got there......soooo i was stuk in eld for like...an hr tryin to get out. (btw i was an all int mage...lol, so 1-3 shot=dead lol) then i shouted out HEEEELP and explained an some nice dude escorted me bak and wen i sed thx he sed he did the same thing at my level. so it was all coo in the end, got to see mt an cp...lol

Now I always choose stone production and either potions/scroll production just because I like em. And stone prod is nice.

I TRY to find purchase houses where i can sell my stuff to players for slightly higher then npcs. That one thing I lvoe about fiesta, you can set up a store instead of spamming WTS etc etc.

not really sure who "S _ _ _ _ n " is, but yeah, theres a few people like that.


Talked to one of the map killers, who was running around Rumen PvP killing everyone. Even people who asked him/her to leave them alone so they could PvP.

When they tried to hide, he just went looking and killed all of them. He then camped the spawn and dropped AoEs over, and over, and over again.

When I tried to kill him (cleric damage ftl) _______ just said to get some +9s and level like he did/she did. Nothnx, i actually like my sleep and spending less than 10+ hours a day grinding (his/her words on how long they grinded)

I had Loki to guide me through all the noob stuff, so I cant really say that I did anything like that. So, I guess my biggest noob thing I did was not to realize that I could log out of a KQ if I was bugged and log right back in and I would still be in the KQ. So, when I was bugged and frozen in one spot, I stood there like an idiot and waited for it to end, saw the success pop up, everyone else got exp except me, cuz I was too far away, and then let it warp me to Roumen. :)

@lvramire & Hyperswoss - I dunno who u guys are talking about.... but last time i was in Elderine PvP... there was this 6x+ mage that was killing everyone that's lower level than him.... I tried to revenge for these ppl... all i could do was waste his stones and not kill him... but was proud that he couldnt kill me either...

the Rof came... and the mage killed Rof when him and I were doing a friendly fight.... so rof turned around and kill him 3 times... he had NO chance!

i saw the mage's life drop so fast it was so funny! we killed him twice more and left PvP ground XD

So I am out and about killing as fast as I can as a low level noob, which technically I still am. And of course I am picking up everything that is dropped so fast I am not even looking at what I am picking up. I go back to town to sell off my stuff and I notice that I have an archer pair of pants in my inventory.

“I can’t use this stuff”, I say to myself. “Wonder what the NPC’ll give me for them. 60c that’s it I’ll bet an archer will give me more for them” I say to myself. I seem to talk to myself a lot… I wonder if that’s a problem?

So, I figure out how to open a shop and put the pants up for 80c and they are gone in no time.
I start dancing around thinking about how smart I was for getting more for those silly little Solar Eclipse Pants. That was until I came across a shop selling Archer armor. UHHHHH I could have gotten what for those pants…

Ohh well someone got a great deal and a got a lesson.

when i first started i didnt know how to do anything, becuase i had never before played a pc game online before. i was completely clueless on everything till about lvl 20. i totally messed up all my stats, and am hurting now for it lol. also i didnt knw i had to do quests and buy skills, so i thought i was rich becuase i never bought anything lol till around lvl 10 when someone finally told me hehe. for a few days staight all i did when i first played as talk becuase heck i didnt knw how to do anything else. looking back on it now, i laugh at myself becuase everything is so easier then i thought then =)

Apparently I'm still a noob even at lvl 35... I found out 2 days ago what it meant when people said "Selling Greens" etc. Had no clue as to why things were called greens. Secondly, pvp? You can go around killing other players?

Good Old Days: Trying to run to CP1 back in CB2 only to die and go to Uruga. That -never worked-, mostly because Karasian Templars have too much range.

And I got killed by Torturers too much.

lmao I got a +7 L15 bow back before redeyes/bluemiles came out. :D I broke it getting it to +8.
