And also... while I'm ranting, I might as well talk about the stupid people who think that they have money, therefore they think they deserve stuff.

i.e.

Talking to someone when someone else ordered price check on Eld Ring.

Someone shouted 3g.

I lol'ed.

Someone said 5g.

I rofl'ed.

Then the talk about the worth of said ring was.

I said that it's pointless to pay that much for a ring.

Then this fine gentlemen decides to say that the stats are amazing.

I said not amazing enough for 3g or 5g.

He says..

and omg I quote...

"Because the drop rate is so low, only the rich deserve to have them."

I remember when those rings were only 800s-1g. Now people are saying they're 3-5g? Bleh.


Also some of those people vending in Uruga, vending mediocre greens with +10dex or +9int for 5x Npc price >.>

Worse thing is, that prices tend to be set around what those people offer, so 5x Npc price becomes the mininum price for them.

Also.. if theres someone who is standing right on top of the NPC. I mean, right on them, that it is apparently not on accident, you can report them.

YEAAHHHHHH i hate that ppl stands ON NPC! but good thing about Fiesta is you can angle ur screen and eventually click on kyle.... might take a while but eventually it works....

and yeah... i think "deserve" is a bad word.... my bf has a ring of roumen or Elderine.. i cant remember... but we PICKED IT UP! although we're not as rich, we still deserved it!

according to that guy, i almost sounds like we should give up the ring and just hand it over to the rich for free or something...

but i reckon he meant "only rich ppl can afford it"....

no matter how long I wait to do it again.

What defines "rich"?

A level 1 may think that 1s is rich.

A level 30 may think that 100s is rich.

A level 50 may think that 1g is rich.

A level 70 may think that 1 gem is rich.

Merchants are the ones that drive the price up.

Either uruga is not meant to be shift-z-able or it's bugged.. it never works....

People buy mats...

someone else buys for higher price, so people will sell for the higher price...

then because of the mats costing so much, the price of the product raises.

Then people make other people have more money, and inflation goes crazy.

End result?

You can have like 180g by the end of the day, but then it means nothing because a T3 scroll will cost 200s ea.

But the guy that was talking to me asked me how much money I had...

and I told him that I had 1,5g after spending the 2,2g for my hammer.

he told me I wasn't rich...

because he had 2 rings of Eld, and +9 wep, and still like 4g.

I just don't understand it.

maybe because there's mobs in uruga and not in the other towns?


Well, Roumen has the slimes, but they also dissapear when you Shift+Z. Unlike Elderine, when you 'hide' during an event, only players are hidden and the mobs remain.

HQ Dogteeth are now worth 1s+ on the street...my friend pays 1.5s each.

All that does is drive the price of T3 scrolls up. Was selling T3 Vits at 5s, then when Dogteeth became 750c, I sold at 6s apiece. Now that they're worth 1s-1.5s, so I sell at 7s.

And that kind gentleman has nothing compared to the economy leaders.

problem with Dogtooth HQ is that, they're a rather rare drop too... unless the meat and leather, these thing only drop like 1 per 20 kills or something... (or that's wat it felt like)

If more Dogtooth are dropped, ppl will have more to sell, and after the shop buying for 1.5s gets sold out... ppl will start selling it to shop pricing it at 1s... and so when ppl can buy things at 1s, why would they pay 1.5s for it?

so yeah.. now that there's more ppl demanding for it, (more vit 3 scrolls producers) and less drops... price goes up....


i think to stop the amount of money floating in the economy... they gotta start thinking about NPC selling premium items... coz at the moment, the money is just being passed between players, everyone gets richer and richer... things are only gonna get more and more expensive, coz everyone can afford more...

they gotta think about taking money back from the player....

Also with what lvra said. Slimes are non-aggressive. The mobs in uruga are.

I think that in order to stabalize the economy...

people need to stop hogging money.

The way to keep the economy afloat is to increase consumer spending.

If people only get and get and get money, and save up gems and gems...

then no one really has money.

He's the only one with it.

Give money back to the people, and they won't be afraid to buy things, because they know they can sell stuff, and get money again fast.

It's all about rotation of the money, and rotation of products.

I wish people would stop saving so much.

Some people just have the mentality than money=power. Sure the power, to buy whatever you want. But power.. actual power. No. There is no gain other than money that probably won't go anywhere but to get more money. All they will get in the end is bragging rights on how much money they have, and people envying the money, but at the same time, many people disliking them for it.

Well... maybe we're slowly turning into BK in a way that its normal for lvl 3x to have 5g or something.... (and ONLY in that respect!! i'm not trying to compare BK with anything else in Fiesta coz i know its not comparable)

i think the problem is we've got certain individuals that buy all the stuff, even if they dont need it, so that others who could actually use it couldnt make use of it....

We call that greed.

Greens in BK were cheap. the CS stuff was the expensive stuff.

Well obviously our CS stuff isn't tradeable/sellable so now, maybe this is like a side effect? People are substituting "godly" greens for CS items.

Also, about the Kyle and the mob thing, I find when that happens, it helps to get really close to Kyle and zoom in so that maybe his hand or his back shows up and then you can click it.

CS clothes were 2-50g, but weapons were cheap.

You could get untouched CS weapons from levels 20-70 for like 50-100s (pocket change). +9'd ones were in the low golds.

I guess people on BK are more about looking cute ^^;; The non-CS stuff was pretty cheap from what I saw.

Yeah, it's like that in kFiesta too.

I think I remember Marvin saying that we'd be "lucky to get 10s" for a four-statted level 80 drop. XD

We'd be lucky to get 1g for a 4 stats level 80 weapon o.o;;

That ring is more of a "collection" item than something I'd really want to wear. X_X not worth much at all unless you get it free :3

I wear it. Prolly will until I get a better one, then give it to Loki or Patches to wear. Hmmm..... maybe I should sell it - what for? more money? Nothing I need to buy at the moment and I have enough money. What is the point in all the money? Haven't figured that out yet. I actually have a decent amount of money, but I am also not hoarding it, I just have nuffin to spend it on except mats, which I turn into scrolls, which turns into more money. Never understood the whole concept of being the richest person in the game. It means nothing. Your attitude, friends, and how you play the game is what matters to me. I have given several of my guildies money and never thought a thing about it. What else am I gonna do with it? Kinda like real life, what is the ponit in being the richest person in the world, when you leave this world, you will not take it with you. Have fun with it while you are alive and help those around you.

And LMAO at the Shift-Z thing for Kyle, I too never thought about that, but I have learned that if you span to see the tops of people heads, his head sticks above everyone else's and I can easily click him, even when someone is "in" him.

So this is what's going to happen.

whoever you sold it to already has too much money, then they're going to +9 it, then sell it out there... if it's Tazer... he's going to sell it for like 10g. I don't think I've ever seen joecracker sell anything.

I told the guy that was shouting back and forth with me that I play the game simply to play a game, and I'm online to hopefully hit the cap, and stay with friends.

If Seva would give out some of that 15 gems he has, even 1g to a person, that's 1500 people that would have 1g. Then people would spend more.

I'm sorry if I'm some kind of freak, but I don't understand playing a game to own so much, and to spend so much irl money on this. He said when we were in PvP that he bought 12 pages of Red Eyes, and Miles each because the Spring Break sale. That's 24 pages of prem items... I mean... if you have the real money to do that, then it's fine. People that use CS like it's water and then think that they're all powerful against the people that don't use CS but for recreational purposes (me- Raccoon, House, BoT) kill me.

I went into PvP 2 a while ago... and I've not told this story... but yeah...

_____ came in, using obvious Extenders, T3: DEF, M.DEF, VIT, AIM, and Speed T1. that with all the cleric buffs. So then he starts to kill pretty much everyone that is on the screen. We all ended up trying to gang up on him, and he failed pretty hard. He laughed at another fighter that was with us, calling him "Weak" when the fighter had a CG axe +9. When we finally killed _____, he left the PvP zone to come back, fully scrolled again, and back to killing everyone on screen.

My problem is not that he's using Prem items... by all means use them. If you want to consider yourself something "more" than other people, then do me a favour... go kill the other people that are using the same stuff you're using. Because you choose to spend real money on the game will give you an extreme boost, and you're OBVIOUSLY going to kill someone that's weaker than you. If you really want to compare, go fight someone using extenders, STR & DEF charms, then see how "strong" you really are. When entering the PvP zones, and killing the people that aren't using anything because they can't scroll up in there, or only have the cleric buffs they have naturally... you're going to be stronger... DUH. So stfu, yeah?
