You mean like 10.

Clerics got triple the amount. My 62 holds 186 HP and 226 SP.

My HP stones went from like 45 to 66, and my SP went from 80something to 100. They probably did it because we don't tank, and we naturally have more sp than the other classes. Also, it may be because of the "overpowered" issue.

^No, that's not the reason. It was bugged. When this was being discussed somewhere in the official forums, SKiNG said something like

"Thanks for bringing this to our notice. We'll look into it and try to correct it as soon as possible."

I can't find the link sorry :(.

Yami 03-30-2008 04:55 PM

It had better get fixed. I'm always the first one that has to restone in my party >.< We might have the biggest natural mana pool, but they seem to have forgotten we can't do anything without using SP.

holyfridge 03-31-2008 05:32 PM

eh this problem doesnt hurt thaaaat bad, just duo w/a cleric and make good use of their sp stone increase by lifetapping as much as possible XD

^jk btw i dont lifetap unless they give me permission to :3

Vasu 04-01-2008 02:33 PM

^I always tell mages in my party to feel free to lifetap...I'm getting all my dmg from them :D

Sorry for possible necropost but:

I'd also read that after that announcement, that the amount increased was a mistake, but there was a "by-design" intention to increase mage stones by a smaller amount than the other classes to "even the classes" out. [...]

As if giving Fighter's bigger aggro and Archer's AoE faster CD by several seconds wasn't enough already.

DECREASE FN CD :D

It's not.

See: 20-second fear.

Yami 04-23-2008 09:54 AM

Fear only lasts a few seconds. I wish it lasted 20 seconds lol

Balance ._. how does giving us less stone means balance? In pvp if a mage is caught or unable to take the damage no matter how many stones they have, it means instant death for them. Also, I usually do not go pvp but when I'm training in party in the dungeons I always draw aggro and have to burn stones to survive and my meager 65 is not enough to last that many pulls. If they really intend on us having so few stones at LEAST make the fighters mock hold more mobs so we DON'T die everytime they pull?

Solo/AoE balance, not PvP. xD

Why do people always think of balance in terms of PvP?

It's a universal law of MMO's that most players think that way. To them, balance means equality against other players in battle, not the classes having equal skill against mobs in the fields.

Like I was saying, even in events of training with the other classes, I burn alot of stones due to the fact that they simply CAN'T hold aggro against me. And 64 HP stones doesn't really last that long compared to my tanks 200+. Since I'm usually the only DD (inferno+nova don't need another one) if I have to constantly restone that means the whole party is slowed down. And if I solo, it's still the same since my hp is short and falls pretty fast that means I have to burn much more stones than that of a fighter or cleric and we only have 64. It's like saying I'll give you less food because you'll die faster and those that will die slow give them more. Don't even mention we can kill them fast because when we're mobbed, we're done and you WILL get mobbed no matter what in a dungeon.
