whats next?

i've just reached lvl 20 and it seems that all im doing it grinding and farming all the time.

Vasu 03-26-2008 05:00 PM

And...anything wrong with that? lol, lvl 20 is kinda early to feel bored by grinding/farming etc. Just finish your High Cleric quest and enjoy Fiesta while you can...before you have to start making trips to higher lvl places because the exp is better there.

Yeah if at lv 20 your bored of grinding/farming this is not the game for you. Casue you got alot more of that to do.

Something else you can do is work on your production skills...but thats about it.

Ownage 03-26-2008 05:35 PM

The thing about Fiesta that seperates it from most other MMORPG's is that it's all about grinding AND making money, so that you can grind even more! As Zwiv said, if that's not in your interest circle for a game; go to WOW, GW or some other MMORPG that has true PvP or like 1-hour-long-KQ-type things :)

Ringetsu 03-26-2008 06:47 PM

Fiesta is all about grinding and making money (failing on the second part) D; but when you reach to a higher lvl u have a third purpose....which is to act nub and run around screaming that you are one to fool ppl...then pwn mara in two hits or sumthing

xNevetSx 03-27-2008 01:34 AM

well i only got this game 4 days ago

Ownage 03-27-2008 01:39 AM

Congrats! You've just basically explored 99% of the game!

Ownage 03-27-2008 03:18 AM

^ I'd say around 100% :D

Hessah 03-27-2008 03:42 AM

Have you done Kingdom Quest?

Have you done your job change quest?

Have you got revived yet and feel special reviving people?

I guess the next thing to do is work ur way up to lvl 47 and start getting spammed with "buff plz" XD

but yeah.. its an RPG game... u're expected to do quest and grind and level...

maybe explore all the production skills...

start another character.. try Fighter/Mage/Archer.. Cleric can be a slow character if u solo a lot

Enraya 03-27-2008 03:47 AM

@ Ralath
Does not agree D<

I think you've just about explored 50% of the game.
Because you never know who you're going to meet, and while grinding and quests and produc skills and all that take up 50% of the game, friends take up the other 50% :3

xNevetSx 03-27-2008 05:13 AM

hey

dont get me wronge i like this game alot i plan to continue to play for a long time i just thought that i would like to see what other people did when they've become lvl 20+:D

Hessah 03-27-2008 05:17 AM

Ohh we thought u're bored of this game already!!

well i spent an entire week (hmm about 15 hrs) working on decomposition XD

Ownage 03-27-2008 05:17 AM

Make a Fighter if you get bored of your Cleric. Why?

Fighter and Cleric are pretty much total opposite classes and they ususally depend on eachother. Reasons (I think) to make a Fighter if you get bored of Cleric:
  • Fighters can level faaast :O
  • You'll party with a Cleric whenever you train. Since you have a Cleric of your own, you'll understand your party member much better.
  • Fighters swords look buff and kick-ass :D
  • They're fun to play on!

But meh, that's just me. All classes are good (except I prefer Fighter/Cleric). So it's up to you!

Funny you say that... I haven't actually done ANY training at all on my Cleric! All I've been doing is KQ every 2 hours to level :D

In between KQ's, I've been setting up vendor after vendor to buy scroll mats and then sell the scrolls. Up to 600 Scroll making in 7 hours : )

Hyper 03-27-2008 05:37 AM

Yeah, fighters levels faster.

At 20 and 21 you can level on quests alone, IIRC... o___o

Hessah 03-27-2008 05:44 AM

hmm after lvl 38ish KQ isnt enough to level you anymore...

Yarly.

That my friend, is when Fiesta becomes a true grind-fest.

NotMyWay 03-27-2008 05:52 AM

Well u can look forward to new skills every few levels, or maybe even new equips...

Doing quests is a good way to gain exp if u find grinding boring...

Or if u are bored, u can always try working on production skills (buy materials and sell the products), and thus earning money, getting/discovering new titles, or enhancing items until u lose all ur money (not recommended). U can also read FiestaFan forums or play some other game...

edit: isnt it only at lv 47 that fiesta becomes a real grindfest? cos thats when u learn endure, and also soon learn that u have another 13 consecutive levels to go before learning a new skill.

Enraya 03-27-2008 05:58 AM

Yeah, work on some produc skills, don't be like me who's still on t1 stuff @-@;
And at 39, I don't find it a grindfest, but it's still a grind right now @-@;

hmm i dont see how getting endure buff is corolated with grindfest?

Not exactly related, but before getting endure, endure can be like a motivating factor to continue training. but after that... no more new skills to look forward to until lv 60. which is a long way more...

Vasu 03-27-2008 07:36 AM

*nod*

falconstrike 03-27-2008 09:33 AM

Try to look for treasure chest XD

xNevetSx 03-27-2008 12:47 PM

well ihave yet to experence the PvP aspect of the game *cant wait:D

NotMyWay 03-27-2008 12:55 PM

lol i cant believe i forgot about pvp... yeah u could try that but unless u go to the battlegrounds (i think its about lv 3x before u can enter?) there are no rewards for winning in the free battle zone... (which by the way, is full of sore losers who might attack u first then start ranting endlessly about how clerics "heal too much" or something like then when u pwn them)

Ownage 03-27-2008 02:42 PM

Ha yes, got to Roumen PvP...

Luckily Clerics have a great upperhand at lv. 20+ there. This is because they usually own every other class since they can heal themselves as well as buff 'emselves! Trust me, I was lv. 21 on my Fighter and I lost to a lv. 23 Cleric in about 30 seconds.... T.T (he wasn't even scrolled - just had the ownage Cleric buffs on)

Enraya 03-27-2008 02:55 PM

Yes, PvP is fun xD
But yeah, beware of those people that NotMyWay mentioned ... People that will hate you for "healing yourselves too much" or "buffing up with the protect and resist buffs" and "restoring yourselves" >__O

Clerics are really hard to kill in PvP @-@; I killed a cleric a level below me yesterday, just as he healed. And it was very, VERY close >O<;

Sero 03-27-2008 02:58 PM

Eh I ignore clerics in PvP grounds... Unless they provoke or attack me first, I wouldn't react to it and I'd just wait for them to be at a vulnerable position, unprepared for dominance as I poison their @$$es and see them die... Now that's a way to conserve stones XD Any fight with clerics is a SURE WASTE OF STONES

Ulrike 03-27-2008 04:31 PM

yeah I'm pretty poor too so I generally avoid PvP zones for now because I can't avoid extra stones lol

xNevetSx 03-27-2008 09:05 PM

is it possible to use more than one pet at a time

Sero 03-27-2008 09:37 PM

That's way outta topic... But anyways,

No you can't... And post at the right place next time...

Triumph 03-28-2008 04:27 AM

This game is a grind game.

It's either grind, alchemy, PvP, KQ, quest, or guild war.

Or, you can explore various player-introduced concepts such as dating, etc.
