Production skill O.o
 

I was grinding in the battlegrounds earlier and this production scroll dropped, but I am not sure what it is for. It's a composition skill, but does anyone know what exactly?

I didn't know whether to post it here on in the screenshot section so if I chose the wrong section please move it :P

I is a Composition scroll that allows you to make that item using lower tier materials. If I was at home, I could tell you how much Composition exp you needed to be able to use it, or you can go check it out on the Wiki.

I tried checking the wiki but I couldn't quite make it out lol

I wanna say it is this one. Name is different, but I think that it is just a typo.

Haha, yeah. I have one of those also, but my composition is only at 25,000. So, i have a long way to go. I just simply do not have that much to comp up.
But, eventually, I will get there, lol. Although, I may never use it once I get to that level and activate it, lol.

what's the point of decomp n the other?

Decomp is almost a necessity. At least for me it is. I decomp high level materials to get lower levels mats for scrolls, potions, and stones. My decomp level is a lot higher than my comp. level. It is almost at 100,000. :)

If you have a ton of crude leather (can't use crude leather until T3 scrolls) but you need torn leather to make your T1 and T2 scrolls, why buy from other people when you can decomp one piece of that crude leather and get 11 torn leather?

I have about 500 crude leather in storage as we speak lol

wait, do u get 11 from 1 crude? i always thought it sucked because i got that it works like u make 1 crude to 1 torn...

yepyep. The list is in wiki on what 1 piece of whatever decomps into how many of another. But, if you have trouble finding the info you need or something else, just shoot me a PM and I will try and help you if I can. some of the materials do decomp to just 1 but so far it seems to be just some of the ores. Plus once you get into the higher levels of decomp it doesn't decomp down to as many pieces, but that is understandable considering they are a higher level material. For example, Summoned Beast Leather HQ only decomps down to 3 Summoned Beast Leather. Yet, Summoned Beast Leather decomps down into 14 Summoned Beast Leather LQ.

wow...now i wanna decomp too >.< too lazy to make new char thought, i'll get 30+ and then i'll start messing with production skills i guess. ;)

The number of decomps is actually dependent on the NPC price.

For example, MQ Sap sells for 30c.

When you decomp MQ Sap into LQ Sap (which sells for 3c), you get 9.

9x2=27 which is one Sap less than 30 so NPC-wise, you are losing a profit margin of the stuff you just decomped into.

At least I think that's how it works. ^^:;
